Chapter 8 (Lost Dreams)

Rue heads over to the hospital and meets Rohan in the waiting room.

Rohan: the doctors told us to wait a bit so they can check on him and do their stuff.

Rue: ok.

Rohan: did you tell Makhail?

Rue: no he said he didn't wanna be bothered by us so I didn't bother texting him.

Rohan: Rue this is-.

The doctor comes out.

Doctor: Hans family?

Rue: yes?

Doctor: follow me.

They follow the doctor back to the room. He opens the door. Rohan runs in and hugs Han.

Han: owch, the wound.

Rohan backs up.

Rue: hi baby.

Han: hey, how are yall?

Rohan: I'm good, i missed you Han.

Han: i missed you guys too, wheres Makhail?

Rohan: Rue?

Rue: he wasn't able to make it.

Rohan: Rue don't lie.

Rue: we had a fall out, stuff happened after you got hurt.

Han: what?

Then tries to sit up.

Han: owch.

Rohan: you know you're still in pain, sit back.

Han: we need to stick together we have to show them, we are stronger now more than even ever.

Rue gets a text from Leslie.

Leslie: hey i forgot to tell you yesterday but Mia is in kahoots with the Sinclaires again.

Rue: really?

Leslie: yea.

Han: who text you this early?

Rue: Leslie, she just informed me that Mia betrayed us, as i suspected she would.

Rohan: Rue.

Han: Mia is on our side, since when?

Rue: i have to go handle this.

She starts to walk out the room.

Han: Rue, please handle it how i would.

Rue: fine.

She goes outside. Han looks at Rohan.

Rohan: ugh, fine ill go, be safe.

Rohan runs after Rue.

Rue: oh you're finally putting someone else first.

Rohan: Rue come on its not worth it.

Rue: oh it is.

They get in the car and head to Mia's house. They arrive at her house. Rue breaks the window and opens the front door.

Mia: whos there?

Rue and Rohan head down the stairs.

Mia: why are you two here?

Rue: you grimy ass bitch.

Mia: what?

Rue: you were with the Sinclaires huh?
