Marinette was happily chatting with Luka when she heard a loud crash in a distance.

She quickly stood up, handed the ice cream to Luka and patted the dust off her trousers. She said to Luka as she leaned in towards him, "I gotta go. Ummm... I promised Papa that... uh... I'll help with a-a new macaroon recipe. So, umm.. Bye?"

Luka looked at her with a bemused expression,"Be safe on your way home. Okay? "

She quickly nodded and ran off towards the direction of the source of sound. She suddenly stopped on seeing someone head towards her. It was - Kagami? The girl was in a red jumpsuit and wore a red flowerband on her head. She had a bow and arrow with her, which she used to shoot people and make them fall in love with each other.

Kagami is akumatized? What happened?

Questions ran through her head when she heard the girl, rather the villain shout, "I'm Cupid! Everyone will fall in love! There will be no problems anymore! Feel the love! "

Marinette hid from the girl's sight and ran into an alley. She was about to transform when she heard a thud next to her.

"Mari? What are you doing here? "

She turned around to find Chat Noir looking at her with angry eyes. "It's too dangerous here. C'mon, I'll take you home. "

Suddenly they heard the girl approaching them as her voice became clearer and louder, "Where are you, Adrien?"

Marinette's eyes widened," Adrien? "

Chat Noir picked her up bridal style, "You are going home, NOW! "

Cupid suddenly entered the alley without any warning, "Oooh! What do we have here? Unrequited love, alley cat? "

Cupid drew an arrow on her bow.

Before she could shoot at them, Marinette suddenly grabbed Chat by his collar and slammed her lips on his.

Chat was shocked at first but then he realized that they were just acting as if they are in love for the Cupid.

He tried to go with the flow but then he realized something. He wasn't faking it! All of the emotions were very real and came from his heart!

Chat Noir knew very well that he couldn't kiss her again without sacrificing their friendship, so he tried to pour his feelings into that kiss. He wanted to express how he felt that moment through his lips- his love, desperation, care, passion, his burning desire of her.

Marinette closed her eyes. She knew that what she was doing was wrong. She had an amazing boyfriend and she was betraying him. She desperately tried to picture Chat as Luka, but somehow ended up picturing Adrien instead.

She had never kissed Luka like this.

Their kisses were sweet and caring, making her feel like a special person. But this one was totally different, filled with passion and desire.

Somehow, it- it just felt right when it absolutely wasn't.

Cupid moved away from them, silently, despite the repeated urges of Hawkmoth to take Chat Noir's miraculous. She didn't want to disturb them. They were in love with each other.

Cupid went out on the road again, searching for Adrien Agreste.

After a few minutes, Chat and Marinette broke apart, panting heavily, their faces flushed. Chat Noir leaned in again, wanting to taste the sweetness of her lips again. She looked up at him, her bluebell eyes glazed with desire, until her purse wiggled and Marinette knew that it was Tikki asking her to do her job.

Chat whispered in a hoarse voice," M-Marinette-", nearly inaudible. She put a finger on his lips, " Thanks Chaton. "

She ran away from him, blushing like crazy, while he stood there, touching his lips on wonder.

Marinette found a corner and opened the purse, to find Tikki looking at her with a bemused expression.

"I'm very sorry, Tikki. I was-"

"It's okay, Marinette. But there's an akuma to catch first. "

"Alright. Tikki, spots on. "

With a flash of pink, she transformed and started looking for Cupid.
( Timeskip because your author is too lazy to write it all down. Or, let me just tell you the truth, she cannot write action scenes.😂)

Another akuma defeated and a job well done.

It wasn't easy though as Cupid was a very strong opponent and the fact that Ladybug and Chat Noir was blushing the whole time didn't make the fight easier at all.

Kagami sat on the ground with a dazed expression on her face.

Ladybug walked to her and crouched down," Are you feeling better, Kagami?"

She looked at the superheroine," Yes, thank you. Did I hurt anyone?"

Ladybug shook her head and Chat Noir stepped forward," Do you wanna talk to us? "

Kagami stood up, "Thanks but I need some alone time now. "

Ladybug smiled and her earrings beeped, "Uh, I gotta go, Chat. Bug out!"

She swung away with her yo-yo.

Chat Noir stood there for a while before he decided to talk to Ladybug about the kiss with Marinette as she was a civilian and whether it would make Hawkmoth target her.

He followed her and tried to call out to her but she couldn't hear. He jumped behind her, matching her leaps. He saw Ladybug landing on Marinette's balcony.

Wait, what is she doing here?

He jumped to the roof next to Marinette's and hid himself behind a chimney.

Suddenly, he saw something which shook him to the core.

Ladybug detransformed and she was-she was M-Marinette??
