Marinette and Luka walked along the deserted streets of Paris, as they enjoyed the comfortable silence between them. Luka was extra chipper today, occasionally bending down to her ear, murmuring humorous remarks on the few people on the street, which made her giggle incessantly.
He turned towards her and asked gently, with concern in his voice, "Are you tired? "
She shook her head adorably and he smiled. They walked a little more, until they reached a small park. It was a green pasture, with a row of trees lining around it, the dew moist grass sparkling on the moonlight.
As they walked in, pushing past the small gate, she noticed a large sheet on the ground, with a picnic basket and a bottle of wine on it. She looked at Luka with wonder and he smiled.
Marinette jumped up and down in excitement and hugged her husband tightly, him laughing heartily at her childishness. Luka settled down on the sheet, leaning against the tree and patted the space beside him in invitation. Marinette smiled giddily and sat down beside him, brimming with happiness. Luka hugged her, her head resting on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeats, as his arms encircled her in an embrace. They looked at the night sky together, full of stars and the ethereal shine of the moon.
Marinette felt safe in his arms. A feeling of contentment and happiness flooded her. She, him and their child. It was going to be just perfect. She looked up at him, his handsome profile hovering over her, staring at her intensely. She joked, "Mr., you shouldn't look at me like that. What if I tell this to your wife?"
He whispered lovingly, "Not if I tell this to your husband first, Mrs."
They laughed.
Suddenly, it began snowing.
This was the first snowfall in Paris ever since winter came. Snowflakes floated down in cotton candy...
"The snow is so beautiful..." Marinette looked up, the white snow added a hint of romance to the night skies.
Luka slowly said, "Apparently, if you walk in the snow with the person you love, you might just become white haired together."
Marinette stood up and looked at Luka, there were snowflakes in his hair, as he sat against the tree.
"Mr. Couffaine, may I have the honor of taking a stroll with you? " she smiled as she asked.
"I guess I have no choice but to say 'yes', Mrs. Couffaine," Luka stood up and lovingly rubbed her head.
They walked around together, amidst the snowfall.
Luka held her hand, the warmth in his palm transmitting into hers.
Just like an old couple, they quietly walked around in the snow. They remained silent, but it wasn't awkward at all.
Feeling emotional, Marinette took her phone out and put her cheek against Luka's, capturing the moment forever.
Then, she uploaded this selfie in Instagram with a caption, "If you don't leave me, I won't leave you till I die."Their friends commented one after another and Marinette replied to them as she happily read them out to Luka.
They strolled around in the snow for a long time...
-------------------------Adrien was chatting with Alya and Nino at his house, when Alya's phone dinged with a notification of Marinette's upload. She took it up and smiled at picture, before typing something on the phone.
Alya's phone was an IPhone 7 and the screen was really large.
Adrien saw a photo of Marinette when she placed the phone on the table...
