To see and behold doth I present myself
In forms a-many to many
Swan song of each in rest but I sing
Till no more a want-not trace be left for any.
To know thyself , thou knoweth not what Self be
Mirrors of broken fragments at times I see
Smileth to me of my own
Off the stone-engraved pillar sown
Ah my beloved; My twin in mind
How warm art thou that I find
Like the dew-drops of Sun my face-lit shined
On the blaring of its teeth , its smile 'form' dined.
To seek truth doth I liveth to mine own
Power-thirsty thus hath mine eyes grown
Stages of puppets past past and makers in the fray
Turneth red the winds of spectre-gray
To pillar the prop of my malaprop
Or reeds of the deeds in the share-crops.
Moonfaces of the jolly doth I see
Traces of remembrance doth I decree
Knoweth I the key to set thou myself free.
Masques of the promtance and pretence Divine
Inward soly-locks of the bottomless ravine
All but serve to tell thee-me
At the sights of times I flee
Of the deafening silent footsteps on the Sands
There where the end of Posiedon's Army Stands.
Laugh I at the gloom further back
And stream fleetly jewels at that which stands before
Of my Love off the rack.
Soft! but I breathe the sweet aroma of that-now
That which to the front me now endow
Know thou ; Me thou knowest all-time not
Touched thus to the quick at the stricken-bow's knot
Afraid thou I be caught-not.
Melan no more for the soot covers the gold
An' many faces doth Secrets do uphold
Mayeth doth 'I' to many fortunes mould
For they no longer be masques , only senses bold
Hence bid I wanton sigh to the facade of the old
An' walk I path for Legend to Behold.
