PRESENT DAY
14 days after the accident.
It is the last day to decide if I was going or staying and it was also coincidentally- my birthday.
Michael had come to tell me earlier that once it was twelve he would have no choice but to start hunting me down.
Lola, Jasmine and Katie were decorating everything, I was out of my hospital gown and in a white dress and it was simple and fabulous just like Georgina promised.
"We have a surprise for you!" Lola says while Jazzy giggles and stands by the door, Lola signals to her and she yells "ta-da" before she opens the door.
"Reece is here" Jasmine says and then Michael walked in...
"Hey, kitty kat..."

February,2001
I was sharing my Chocolate chip cookies and m&m's with Lola at lunch when the new boy with the weird accent walked toward me and started staring at me.
"You want a cookie?" I ask and he shakes his head at me "oh...what do you want?"
"Can I seat here?" I nod and he sits down and he opens his lunch, Lola ignores him and starts eating her fries.
"What's your name?" I say and he looks at me in surprise, no one wanted to be his friend and no one had been nice enough to ask his name.
"Reece" he says smiling at me showing me his missing front teeth.
"Reece like the candy Reese's pieces" I say and he nods and I quickly grab my kit kat from Lola's hand before she can eat that too- it was like my favorite chocolate.
Lola just goes back to eating her food- Lola likes eating.
"What's that?" He says pointing at my Chocolate bar. "Kit kat...my favorite chocolate, it is named after cats and kitties" I say with an air of superiority.
"Ok...I like kit kats too, do you like cats?"
"Yes" I say smiling at him "but my mummy gets sick because of cats so my daddy says no cats"
"You like cats and kit kats" I nod at him and open up my kit kat.
"You want to share my kit kat?" I say while opening it up
"You want to share my Reese's pieces?" He asks while bringing it out, since then every day at lunch we share our candy- Lola warmed up to him when he gave her his cookies the next day.
The three of us were inseparable.
He called me kitty kat.
I called him Reese's pieces.
We called Lola the cookie monster.

PRESENT DAY
14 days after the accident.
"Why does he look exactly like you?" I ask Michael as Reece talks to me, the girls had left to give I and Reece some privacy.
"I look like him not the other way around" he says shrugging "you've never been attracted to any other guy since him, so I guess you're one of those people whose souls are in sync, if I appeared to you as anyone else you wouldn't have fallen for me..."
"I was attracted to Jayden.."
"No, you weren't...not really, you just thought you were" he pauses before continuing "did Jayden ever make you feel the way Reece made you feel, in fact still makes you feel ..in the short time you knew each other?"
I looked at Reece smiling and talking to me- his chocolatey brown eyes shining, and his brown hair sticking up everywhere, he was the reason I loved my hair and eyes so much- it was one of the things we had in common, he was wearing a plain white long sleeved t-shirt and in his hand was the scrunchie(he kept that?) I gave to him to remember me by on the first day I had the courage to kiss him when he was moving back to Wales.
We were thirteen.
I turned towards Michael and we both knew the answer to that question-my cousins started coming in, with my uncles and aunties, all my friends, my parents and soon enough- everyone was seated sharing happy memories they had with me.
I have made my decision.
I turned towards Michael and he immediately engulfs me into a hug and I hug him tight.
"Thank you"
"For what?"
"For once ...I finally know what I look like, even though my form will change on my next assignment"
"Oh..." I say still hugging him, I was going to miss Michael "Are you sure?" he says and I nod.
"Can you give me something to remember you by?" I ask and he lets go and shakes his head at me.
"You won't remember me, even if you tried"
"I know, I just want it...even if I won't remember you..." he looks at me for a long time before I feel a burning sensation on my wrist, I look down to see a tattoo of a scythe with a pocket watch wrapped around it, I run my finger on it before leaning in to kiss Michael full on the lips, I draw back to see him looking at me in surprise.
"That was to remember me" I say and smile at him and he clears his throat.
"That's a scythe the believed traditional weapon of a reaper and wrapped around it..."
"Is your pocket watch" I say cutting him off before he could complete his sentence.
"Good bye Elizabeth White...time to return to your family" he says and places two fingers on my forehead, before I could say anything else I had a feeling of being yanked back into my body.
My eyes flicker open...
The first thing I see is Reece's smiling face staring down at me.
I was awake...
This is just the beginning.
