6 days after the accident.
"Hey mentor!" Jasmine says while entering in the room, my mum gets up and hugs her before leaving the room.

She's a year older than my sister and an athlete, we share the same agent and I took her under my wing, girl has potential and was very nice, her parents were close to mine so it was easy for them to welcome her into our family.
"Hey...Jazzy!" I say even though she can't hear me.
"So... I just wanted to tell you that I stand a chance of qualifying for the Olympics this year...I'm super excited! It's all thanks to you...and I hope you'll be there to support me" she pauses "you once said that one day we would compete together but well...you're here, you have to wake up to fulfill your promise...I know if you try you can qualify next year" she says and sniffs "you know you were my role model I've always wanted to be like you and I was so happy when you started training with me, I have no siblings but you were like the big sister I never had and honestly I don't even know what I'm doing...if you aren't there I don't know if I can do it...I need you, please wake up" she says while wiping her tears with her hands.
I'm sorry Jazzy.
She stays with me for a while and tells me all about her fears and insecurities like she always did and I listened like I always did.

He slips his hand under my skirts and his finger slowly wanders up until he reaches the band of my panties and I shiver.

I suddenly push him away and jump out of the bed and press myself against the wall pulling my skirts down.
"Oh...look at the time" I say and glance at my empty wrist "time to go for training"
"You're blowing me off again"
"No I'm not"
"First off today's Sunday, secondly you don't have a watch"
"Well...I've got to go study"
"Oh come on!" he says standing off from the bed "we've been at this for nine months...a pregnant woman would have given birth by now!" he says and walks towards me now standing in front of me.
I'm cornered.
"What's wrong?" he says looking at me with those beautiful grey eyes of his.
"I don't want to have sex"
"Why?"
"You know why?"
"Then marry me"
"What?"
"Marry me."
"I...can't"
"Why?"
"Because.." he cuts me off before I can finish "never mind, I know why...because of your career, am I right?" He laughs at me harshly "it's always because of your career.."
"And my parents and my studies and..." he smacks his lips on mine and I try to push him away but he pins my hands to the wall, without thinking I knee him in the balls and run right out of his apartment leaving him crouching on the floor in the room.

I don't stop running till I reach my apartment and even then I run pass Lola and mason on the couch straight into my room and lock the door behind me and go take a bath.
A few minutes later, I hear a knock and open the door with tears in my eyes to see Lola standing right outside the door with a big bowl of ice cream and a spoon smiling at me sadly.
"Wanna talk?" She says and I quickly pull her into the room and cry in her arms, a few minutes later we were both sat on the floor, me with a bowl of ice cream in my hands, her with a remote control while she listened to me narrate what had happened a few hours ago.
