What are the pros and cons of having a badass bestie?

Pro:
You can always depend on them for savage comebacks and saracastic replies...
Cons
Their savage comebacks and saracastic replies can lead you to trouble.... Grave trouble 🤦‍♀️

For an instance , I'm right now running for my life, far far away from a cafe. The same cafe which I got kicked out from just..... yesterday. The same cafe whose owner hates me to an extent that he will kill me the moment he lays his squinted pig like eyes on me. The same cafe that my best friend thought was the best place for her ferocious comebacks... Yeah too much memories associated with that cafe...

"Have you lost your mind Minji" I said, panting... "He was literally one step away from calling the police"

"That's the thrill of it babes"
"I mean yeah.... But we could've gotten into so much trouble"

"But you can't deny that it was all worth the risk.What did that fat ass think that if he fires you, you would cry for weeks and roam on the streets searching for food in the dustbins ... "I am not sure if She was right or if she was absolutely wrong.

What I'm sure of is that I'm the most indecisive persson because I have a trouble understanding what to feel. The aderaline rushing through my veins was sending shivers of excitement and thrill whereas the sane part of my brain was wracking me to reprimand Minji for her childish ways to handle things.

While I was still in my dilemma, Minji started walking ahead . I started following her, running occasionally to catch her pace.

And boom.....

I run into someone and fall on the ground face first. I saw the stars. No not in the metaphorical sense. The literal sense. I saw the stars. Or was it 'The fault in our stars'.
Standing back on my feet, I picked up the book that was still laying on the ground.

"I'm so sorry. " "Are you alright"." Oh my god ".Three different voices said at the same time. I took a moment to look at the owners of the voice. If I hadn't fallen on my face because of them, I would have said that they were pretty attractive.

" Oh I'm extremely sorry. It was totally my fault. I wasn't paying attention ", the one who was significantly shorter than the other two, but still comparatively taller than me, said that.

" Wow, you think a small sorry can rectify all your mistakes huh? ", if you haven't guessed still, that was Minji. She is quite overprotective of me sometimes. "Do you not know that you shouldn't read while walking. Because of your filthy habits and this filthy book ,Eunbi is hurt"
"I'm alright Minji" I turned to face the three masked men with a 'I'm-sorry- about-my-friend ' look.

" Also this book is totally spell-bouding. I didn't even sleep for two nights cause I couldn't put it down. So don't worry I understand "

"My friend her has been saying the same thing over and over again", The tallest of the three said, with relief washing over his face.

I looked back to the one who was holding the book. He was looking at me with a decipherable look. The way he was looking at me as if I'm am a different species made me uncomfortable and nervous at the same time. His eyes were bulging out of his sockets as if I was telling him that the earth was flat..... With a proof. I waved a hand in front of his face to catch his attention. He awkwardly cleared his throat and began-

"Oh I'm sorry again. I.... I... I think we have met before"

Minji looked at him and shook her head disapprovingly,"That was the best pick-up line you could think about"
"No no no, hyung is not hitting on her. We really have met once . " The one in the middle said. "You used to work in Mr. Brown's ,didn't you".

" Yeah"I barely whispered. I don't know why, but under the strong gaze of one specific pair of hazel eyes, I had lost my voice.

"Yes I figured. We were present there when you were hurling insults on your boss" He said chukling.
"If it makes you feel better, I personally thought it was really cool"

I myself giggled a little at the memory.
Minji had seemed to forgotten our not-so-good encounter a while ago and smiled widely at the black haired boy.

"I know right.But that's not the end of the story, we even left a bunch of wild mice in the kitchen this morning"

"Oh my god thats hilarious", the same boy said while holding onto his stomach from laughing so hard.

" BTW I'm jungkook "

Another Jungkook. Three in total. One is the makne of bts. Second is a friend of Chim and third this cute black haired boy. Jungkook extended his hand for us to shake. But before I or Minji could take his hand "Jungkook we are getting late. We should get going now" , the shorter guy, yeah the one with hazel eyes that was staring me for a moment now, said, in a curt tone. What is his problem?

"Umm yeah! It was nice to meet you..... "
"Eunbi " I completed for him.
"And Minji", Minji chirped from beside.
" Alright we gotta go "

We were not even a few steps away from them when Minji squealed.

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! They were three really handsome men, did you see that Jungkook guy's biceps OH MY GOD and the cute way he spoke .Isn't there a law against being hot and cute at the same time"

She thought for a moment before again speaking,

" No there is not. Otherwise those people and BTS would behind the bars".
"Are ya even listening to me girl"

No I was not.
Because my thoughts were floating around the man who has the most beautiful shade of hazel eyes, the one who was a fan of 'the fault in our stars', and .... the one who was looking at me with such intensity in his eyes as if he is a wild wolf and I'm his prey.

"Eunbi"
I can't understand what is more unsettling, the fact that he was staring at me or the fact that he looked familiar.

"Eunbi"
Those eyes, I have seen them before

"Eunbi ssi"
That voice, I have heard it somewhere.

"Oh my god Eunbi, fucking come out of your imaginary world and LISTEN TO ME"

"Are you insane Minji? , why are you shouting in the middle of the road"
"Cause I have a friend who needs to visit an E.N.T. asap. "
"Maybe I'm ignoring you"
"You wouldn't dare"
"I can ignore you Minji bear 🐻. Most of the time you talk nonsense anyways"
"Ouch" She said, placing a hand on her heart " I'm brutally hurt by your words my friend "
"Okay okay what is it you were going to tell me"

"Listen to me carefully __"
"Hm hmm I'm all ears"

"Had thought about giving you something incredible for your twenty second birthday"
"Alright"
"Don't you want to know what it is"
"Dude my birthday is 3months away"
"But BTS concert is 15 days away"
"How does it matte--------OH HOLY CHICKEN! !! YOU BOUGHT ME BTS CONCERT TICKETS"
she was smiling her brightest smiles, and I didn't need any further clarification. We held hands and started jumping together in the middle of the street

"OH MY GOD WE ARE GOING TO THE BTS CONCERT "

"WUHOOOOOOOOOOOO"

"Thank u thanku thanku Minji, I'm so happy right now. You are the best"

"I know I am. No need to state the obvious",Minji stated flipping her hair.

Now that you know the pros and cons of having a badass bestie, let me tell you the pros and cons of having a bestie.
Pro
1) they know you inside out.
2) you share a strong sense of telepathy
3) they know exactly what you want.

Cons
They become a piece of you, you can't live without. Not an addiction, just a way of life.

But it doesn't matter though because my not planning on leaving Minji's side.... Ever.
