Forever etched in my brain
Like that patch of skin from 10 years back
Burn healed through pain
Alluring, in its hideous stateLocked up in a trance
Humbling Hamelin's piper with this charm
Took but one glance
A tiny window, a fleeting chanceSpeeding down the road,
Sunglasses hide your bloodshot eyes
And what's buried in your soul
Catastrophe of a life, you blew out in smokeAnd we laid face down on the floor
Bodies drenched in sweat
Heart's ardency unknown
Three feet,I never felt this closeMet you first in words
Scribbled on a parchment, a story
Of a heart that hurt.
