There was something off about Kamryn's home; it was too quiet. No music, no long ramblings; the only thing that could be heard was the water running. The poor girl had to be dying in there or something, since she's not even quiet in the shower.

Oh, my apologies! Kamryn Hansen was sitting back on her bed with a lavender towel wrapped around her body. Our favorite teenager definitely had to take a long shower to get the smell of the nasty ass food and musty ass kids off of her.

"We do have somewhere to be, sir. You mind hurrying it up?" The teenager called out to whoever was in the shower, as she scrolled on Instagram, trying to avoid all of the videos of the fight.

She said 'sir'... is our little girl growing up? She has a man in her shower?

"I'm just trying to get the smell of mustard off of me!" The man in her shower called back.

Nevermind, he's not a man. I can recognize that cadence voice anywhere.

"Jaxie, you act as if mustard was the only thing that hit you."

Jaxtyn's voice was usually normal for a guy, not too deep, but not too high. At random times, towards the end of his sentence his voice would crack. I guess puberty didn't hit yet.

"Oh trust me, it wasn't. Not with all the hits I took for you. I just hate the smell."

Kamryn mocked him under her breath. With the shower water running, there was no way he could hear her.

"I heard that!" He called back.

I guess I was wrong. Jaxtyn always did have impeccable hearing. In Kamryn's eyes it was the most annoying thing about him. She couldn't say anything smart about him.

A few minutes passed before he spoke again. "Aye, can you get me a towel?"

Kamryn remained still on her bed, as she contemplated whether she should help out her friend in need. "Someone who is smarter than me would remember to get a towel."

"Why does everything have to be a smart remark with you?"

Kamryn rolled her eyes, as she got off her bed. "I almost forgot how much of a hypocrite you are." The young girl took her sweet time climbing down the stairs and opening the closet door. A smirk began on her face, as she picked out her old Strawberry Shortcake towel. Kam closed the door and began to climb up the stairs that led to her attic. "Here you go." Our favorite teenager said, once her back was to the door and her arm was extended.

Our favorite jock cracked the door open to snatch the towel. Which only made Kamryn reply with yet another smart remark. "Should've made you go outside naked."

Hmm, that sounded more like a flirt. Kamryn would never flirt Jaxtyn though, right?

"You would love that."

"The twenty girls you were texting this summer would love that. I am not one of them. You barely texted me this summer."

"I brought it down to fifteen."

Kamryn rolled her eyes as she sat back on her bed, still not bothering to get dressed. "That's not much better."

"So, you admit it's better."

"I taught you better than that, Jaxie."

"I'm loyal when I'm in a relationship."

Jaxtyn opened up the bathroom door. "Do I have any clothes left over?"

As he stepped into the bedroom with the towel wrapped around him, Kamryn couldn't help, but stare. She really thought that the towel she gave him would take away from his gorgeous body. The young girl licked her lips before she spoke. "Uh, I think I washed some of your clothes a while ago. Just have to remember where I put them."
