Lily's POV

I groaned at the diziness envading my whole body as I stood up, probably too fast. My hand was still on the painful spot on my head and my eyes were closed when I heard someone, a guy's voice, apologising over and over again. "I'm so so so so so deeply sorry! I completely failed my catch I'm really sorry..." I slowly opened my eyes, directing my gaze to where the voice was coming from. I was met with the sight of, I won't lie, a very handsome guy, dirty blond hair sticking to his forehead, piercing blue eyes and a black ring on his lower lip. I didn't have time to answer before a second guy came running, joining the blond boy. "Hey, so sorry for hitting you. I should have known better than throwing the ball this hard to little Lukey. He wouldn't be able to catch a high pass to save his life." I laughed a bit to the tanned boy's word, seeing the blond one, certainly named Luke, blush a bright crimson.

"It's okay, don't worry." I chuckled, but damn these guys are easy on the eyes. "I'll probably just have a small bump on the back of my head tomorrow but everything's fine. My name's Lily by the way. Nice to meet you guys." I took out my hand for them to shake. The tanned guy shook it and introduced both of them, his name being Calum, before telling me that they came with two other guys; Ashton and Michael. He pointed to a spot on the beach were a guy was reading and one with red hair was sleeping or at least laying down, fully clothed. I grined and turned my head back to the two boys in front of me.

"Let us invite you to diner to apologise. You could meet the other two and we'd all get to know each other, and you'll have 4 new friends in exchange. Sounds good?" I heard Luke mutter 'feels good' or something after Calum finished his sentence. I let myself think about it way to much as Calum called my name and snapped me out of my thoughts. "Uhm, yeah sorry. Yeah why not." I grinned once again when I saw Katie and Doria coming back from the restroom.

"Hey wassup girl!" She yelled from where she was making me laugh hard. She's a really nice girl. Her eyes widened as if they were going to fall out when she saw the two boys, but quickly got herself together. She gulped before talking. "So, are you going to present me to your friends?" She weakly smiled before turning her gaze back to the boys. "Yeah, of course, this is Luke and this is Calum. They invited me to dinner to apologise for knocking me out with their amazing throwing skills." I tried to keep a serious face but couldn't help and crack a small smile to the two boys. "Can she come too guys? She's the only one I know here and super nice. Pretty please-" Katie cut me off chuckling, before she started speaking. "I'm sorry Lily, but I'm actually busy today. But we have a lot of time to hangout all together before you go back home." I cringed as she mentioned home but nodded anyways.

"So, do you agree to a free meal and new friends?" I looked up at Calum and grinned, nodding excitedly at the tan boy. "I'll come. I should clean up and change first though. I also need to make sure I haven't lost anymore braincell with how hard you guys hit me. I'm not this smart so it would realy be a shame." I grinned and saw Luke's face turn paler than a ghost, which made all of us laugh. Luke relaxed when he saw that I was just messing with him. "Okay, so we'll pick you up at your house in a few hours if that's alright with you." Calum told me. I nodded and Calum smiled, starting to walk back to the other two boys. Katie and Doria started walking to the car, leaving Luke and me alone.

I awkwardly ballanced myself, not sure if I should break the silence or just keep quiet, but before I could even make a choice, Luke spoke, for the second time now. "Hey Lily, uhm, we should exchange numbers so we can keep you updated and so you can send us the address, you know, so we can pick you up later, I don't mean it in a creepy way, I'm sorry I'm not used to ask for numbers, certainly not girls like you." He stopped renting before realizing what he said, and started speaking all over again. "Shit sorry, I don't mean this in a bad way. I just, I just s-should stay quiet now. Sorry again." Luke lowered his head in embarassment, playing with his feet, probably waiting for my answer. I laughed a bit, finding it realy cute how Luke was being this shy guy I wouldn't have believed him to be. "Hey hey Luke, breath! Everything's fine, don't worry. Of course I'll give you my number. I just hope you're not a secret murderer trying to get me alone or something." I laughed again and he shook his head softly before fixing his eyes on me again. "It would realy be a shame to kill someone this cute." I could only feel my cheeks flush red at this. Of course, he had to be flirty with me.
