I had scared him. He ran off to his room like he always does when he's upset. I walk over to Mrs. Hudson. She looks concerned. "I-I scared him didn't I?" I stutter. "No! Not at all John!" She pats me on the arm. He's a bit upset right now. That's all." "Are you sure, Mrs. Hudson?" She looks uncertain. I slam my teacup down. "That's what I thought." "I'm going to talk to him." Mrs. Hudson puts a finger in the air and opens her mouth to speak. "NO!" I say. "I'm going to talk to him!" I stormed up the stairs and knocked on his door. I opened it. Sherlock was sprawled out on his bed with a phone next to him. "Hey.. Sherlock." "I'm sorry about..." "No." He stops me. "You didn't do anything. I just...." His gaze becomes distant. "Anyways." He says. " I have a present for you." I raise my eyebrows. He pulls out a slim yet weighted package from under his bed. "Well, really, I have two presents and this is the first." I carefully tear open the wrapping paper and pull out a brand-new laptop. I throw my arms up for a hug, but we got stuck in the awkward hug/handshake cycle. "And for my second gift...." He squeezes his eyes shut and takes a deep breath. Then he kissed me. All I could feel was his lips and the smile on mine. Stars. Stars were all I could see. We broke apart for a second. I stared into his eyes. "You know how long I've wanted to do that?" I say. I press my lips into his again. I don't know how long that lasted for. Could be seconds. Minutes. Hours. Centuries. All I remember is kissing him. Falling asleep in My Sherlock's arms.
