I woke up woozy from the anesthetic they gave me. The world was spinning. My head hurt. I wanted to see Sherlock. That was the only thing I wanted right now. And I really didn't care how I did it. I tried to get out of my bed, and immediately fell on my arse. I heard quiet laughter from the other side of the bed and realized Sherlock had been sitting there the entire time. I blushed. "You better help me up!" I said, embarrassed. He crossed the room and lifted me up onto the bed and sat down in it with me. "I brought games." He said. "I thought you would be bored." I smiled. For a high-functioning sociopath, he sure was thoughtful. I nuzzled into his neck. "Thanks Sherlock." I said. "One thing." I started. "How long was I out?" "They kept you in an induced coma for about a week." He said. "Oh." I said. "I missed you John." He said. He rested his head on top of mine. I laced my fingers through his and said I missed him too. Then he pulled out Monopoly and Uno. I took the uno cards out of the pack. They were brand new. I was touched. I started shuffling the deck. I distributed the cards and flipped over the first one. 4 minutes and two outraged tantrums later Sherlock was the winner of our game. Not that I expected any less. I held his hand and we played Uno all day. I beat him once.
