Elmo pov
Me and y/n have been getting along fine, everything was doing ok in our relationship if you could call it that, but something seemed off. Y/n would always hide their phone or insist that we don't leave the house. Could they be talking to somebody else? No, they would never do that. Especially when we had so much in common. R-right?
Y/n POV
Elmo seemed to be staring into the distance until I tapped him on the shoulder. "What are you doing?" I said slightly laughing. "Y/n, we have been watching seaside street for the past three days- I know it's top tier show content but, aren't you bored?" I look at him nervously, and cough before saying "um yeah, I just wanna um" I take a pause thinking of a good excuse. He couldn't find out- "hellloooo? Earth to y/n?! Dang you are so distant.." I look up. Elmo was waving his furry paw in front of my face. "Sorry... I just want to spend time with you" I say putting my head on his shoulder. He obviously blushed covering his face with one hand while saying "but can't we spend time doing something else" he let out a giggle. "Come on.. can you take a hint?" I look up to see Elmo smiling, what is he planning? "What are you planning to do then?" I say sitting up. "I think we should go on our official first date. I know the perfect place too!" I know I couldn't let him down... it should be ok to go outside for a little while. Besides it will be fun. I look at Elmo. "Of course! Where to?" I say excited. Elmo holds up three tickets. " I know how much you love (favorite artist, band)!" I jump up and down "You know me too wellllll! But wait, why do you have three tickets?" Elmo looks down at the tickets "oh! I'm inviting Swipper!" My face went pale, Elmo continued "He helped rescue you! Also I need to repay him for thinking that you were going to leave me for him.." my eyes shifted thinking of someway to avoid going with Swipper. "So, when is the concert?" I ask "its tomorrow actually, hehe I was kinda late getting the tickets-" "Great ok! Um how about you put them somewhere you won't forget them and we will continue watching seasons street!" I interrupted trying to go on with my plan. "Oh-h ok," he got up off the sofa "I'm going to put them in your closet, ya know, where I live?" He smiled and walked to my bedroom. After a few minutes he came back, he sat next to me "so you wanna continue watching the best show of modern day?" He smiled as I nodded
