Everyday You pass by me,And my cheeks begin to heat.
I will never get enough of that smile
The smile I wish I could help you keep.
But you just pass on by
And go about your day.
You'll stop next to me,
Every once in a while,
Give me a hug,
A friendly smile,
And start off with something simple,
Like, 'how's your day?'
Or 'how are you feeling?'.
And I see it when you look at her,
That she has a special place in your heart.
But then your friends will whisper to me,
That soon enough you will see,
That you pass by the person for you,
More often than you realize.
