"They found Deaton" Stiles said to the police officer.

"What about Lydia?" Mrs Martin asked looking worried.

She said, "We're still looking," and she then started making calls.

At that moment, Stiles' phone rang "Dad! Hey! They found Deaton. Lydia, no. Do you recall the last time she wandered off in that manner? When was Jackson here? Have you gotten anything on that? Perhaps we can use the same locations and start there? .. Okay, I remember. I'll give you a call" Afterward, he hung up.

"What did he say?" Mrs Martin looked at Stiles with hope.

"Not much, they are still searching for her, don't worry we'll find her" He said.

Just then an idea struck him.
He dialled for Scott.
"Scott! Listen to me"

"Now is not the time, there is something wrong here"

"No listen to me! This could be a lead"

"No Stiles come here if you can"
Scott said and hung up.

Meanwhile at the hospital.

"Scott you need to see this" Melissa said pulling him in front of the OR.

"Promise me you won't freak out" Melissa took his hand.

"Are we allowed in there?" Scott asked looking around.

"The surgery is over and there is no one else there, don't worry" Melissa said assuring him.

It was for Melissa that Scott and the others got all the patient records, access to all the restricted areas and what not and they were always grateful for it.

"So the bullet was extracted from Deaton's calf and guess who the bullet belongs to" Melissa said with a pause.

Scott held the bullet and uttered, "Argents," as he gazed at it with dismay and shock.

"How can that be possible?" Malia asked.

"I don't know" Scott said looking at Melissa.

"Don't look at me" She said, "Chris and I talked about it and he is in Canada selling"

"He is not in town?" Malia said.

"Yeah I thought he's back" Scott said.

"But why would HE do that, he likes Deaton, and they get along just fine"

"Maybe another Argent?" Melissa said staring at Scott.

"Gerard is dead, Kate is a were-jaguar she has her own weapon, Monroe?" Scott said thinking.

"No last I checked she was out of town" Melissa said.

"First of all when do you talk to HER, and second how do you know she's out of town?" Scott said in surprise.

"No, I don't talk to her. She came home the other day and apologised to Chris for what she had done to us, and Chris forgave her as long as she never sets foot on Beacon Hills," She said. Scott and Malia were baffled.

Just then a nurse came in, "What are you doing here? You are not allowed"

"Yeah they were just leaving" Melissa said, "How about the patient, is he in his room?"

"Yes, you can go visit, he is in A98" She said and left.

Melissa led them to the room where Deaton was resting after they exited the operating room.

He was still unconscious and covered in bandages.

Melissa smiled and said, "You got him at the right time, a little late and the pain would have been awful."
