Takshaknagar

The habitants of earth lives in oblivion that there are no supernatural creatures around them . These are all myths they say. What they don't know that there are some places in this world that inhabit these myths . One such place is Takshaknagar built after the name of great snake king Takshak.

The weather seemed like on a breaking point. The winds were howling madly , clouds barging with lighting and thunder , everyone and everything appeared gloomy . The city seemed to be in a state of panic.

Meanwhile in kings palace the king Takshakraj is pacing his private chamber deep in thinking. Since his younger brother Naagpasha has gotten the news of Queen lalita's pregnancy he has been creating problems. But yesterday he did something unthinkable. He angered the Snake Lord Dev kaljayi and showed Queen lalita as a culprit . As a result he had cursed their child. His wife is in labour right now and he doesn't seem to have the courage to know what is going to happen. The helplessness he is feeling is choking him but there is nothing he could do.
The king was still in deep thought when an attendant came in.

" My lord, the Queen has given birth to a boy " she said nervously.

"And...." The king asked as he waited for the inevitable.

" And the child ......The child my Lord is ...Is dead. He was born with a blue hue covering his body as if ....As if he was poisoned."

The king nodded gravely . He didn't say anything , if he did he wouldn't be able to stop the tears that were threatening to come into his eyes. Unfortunately the attendant didn't have that much control and was crying profusely now. After gathering himself somehow the king said " take me to the Queen"

In Queen's chamber , the Queen was lying on her bed crying inconsolably . As the king entered he asked everyone else to leave them alone as he neared to see his dead son. The baby's face was extremely attractive. He would have grown to be a handsome man the king thought , but the fate has other plans . He left the baby in the crib and went to console his Queen . He knew the pain was too raw for her and nothing he would say would make a difference. So he just sat beside her and held her in his arms while she cried . The king couldn't hold it anymore and he cried too holding his wife mourning for the son they had lost even before they could even have him .
The next morning , it was raining heavily . The citizens thought that the nature was cleaning itself after the death of the cursed child . Little did they know that this child will really change the world . The king and Queen came to the bank of river to bid the child goodbye as per the ritual. As they were submerging the baby in the river the Queen howled with an agony so acute that it must have haunted the snake God himself. The king stood there motionless . He looked like a broken person , as if life has been drained out of him .
All of a sudden his eyes found it's focus as he turned his back to the river and looked at his men," where is Naagpasha? " He asked quietly .

But the quietness seemed to scare his men more . The fidgeted around too afraid to speak .

The king shouted this time ,"  I asked where is he ? Will anybody damn answer me ? "

Nobody has seen their  king in so much anger . One of them finally gathered the courage to answer the king " He is gone ....gone my Lord . He fled before anyone could notice his absence. "

" Find him dead or alive . But find him or I will see to your death " the king roared .
