Author's Point of View
It was a full blast being at the birthday party of the stranger. She was laughing, half drunk and non stop sharing stories about being an idol as well. She's not that popular as other girl group but her hard work always pay off and that's when she realizes that SM Ent was way more strict than their agency when most of them sharing about their trainee days touched her hard especially with Johnny's story being a trainee in nine years it's not that easy.
Then her eyes landed on the cake was half broken obviously it hasn't been placed by a candle yet the half of cake was broken. "What happened to the cake?" She whispers to Jaehyun.
"Ah Jaemin didn't notice that." He laughs. "He sat on it." Jaehyun tells the whole story to her made her laugh again, well she didn't laughed like this with Jungkook maybe when they start their relationship and that's why she's getting the butterflies in her stomach.
The guys also notices that Jaehyun was showing his dimple a lot tonight and smiles like an angel just like his first months with rosé but knowing their friend that he liked this girl for years they knew that he is finally making a move and they are proud of it.
"Sinb-ssi are you single?" Doyoung suddenly dropped the bombshell opening a sensitive topic. She smiled, pursing her lips together. "Yup." Sinb answered.
"You and Jungkook are really over?" Mark said in disbelief because when he's in SOPA the two of them often quarrel and in another minute they will be in each other's arms. Sinb scratch the back of her head opening this kind of sensitive topic wasn't her thing and Jaehyun quickly notices it. "Yeah, she and jk is over now and I think it's getting late and she needs to go home." Jaehyun cuts off.
She breathed in relief but at the same time she wanted to spend more time with them. "She still have filming —" Jaehyun didn't finished his words when they heard a loud voice calling her whole full name. "Yah Hwang Eunbi!" Yerin screams pointing at her as she got inside the room.
Yerin's jaw dropped as she saw Sinb was hanging out with NCT and not Astro in all this time she was expecting that the guy will be moonbin and not jaehyun that was holding her jacket. "Oh shit." She says and quickly bow to them apologizing for the interruption. "Our manager is mad like a lion right now looking for her." She lied biting her tongue.
"See you again Sinbae!" Doyoung yells waving his hands to her and she gently smiled at him thanking all the members before she went out with Jaehyun and Yerin.
"I can take you girls home —" and once again he was cut by the words of yerin again. "The manager is really mad Jaehyun-ssi I'm so sorry." Yerin was holding her laughter when she received a glare from her friend. "Thanks Jae." Sinb said offering a hug to him.
"Message me when you get home." Jaehyun advises, and she nodded as her reply quickly making an exit with her friend.

At the dorm she's quiet and her friends was in circle asking for an explanation. She could only sigh feeling the uncomfortable feeling the fact that she only sees Jaehyun as a friend but her friends knows her best and they know that this thing with Jaehyun will go thru more than that.
"Well as far as I know." She paused looking at Sowon made her irritated more. "I have nothing to explain and for the record we're just friends." She explained crossing her arms above her chest confidently now.
"I believe her." Umji stated sitting beside Sinb and hugging her like a sister. "Fine but make sure that you'll get out of trouble." Sowon warn like the leader as her role now.
She smiled and when they walked out remaining her and Umji in the living room she rolls her eyes making the younger member laugh.
Jaehyun [11:51PM]: are they mad?
Sinb [11:53PM]: we're all good Jae. I forgot to message you, sorry!
Jaehyun [11:54PM]: care for dessert?
She looked at her best friend that who's busy watching and quickly thinking about her alibi to go outside at this late. She looks at her phone again showing that it's almost mid night.
"Jessica-ssi messaged me and asked me to check the café." She said and quickly puts her acting mode to convince her friend that she's telling the truth.
Sinb never gets it on why does she have to lie to him when the fact that she only sees him as a friend.
She jumped to her room giving her dog a kiss and changed her outfit into her favorite over sized shirt and high waist shorts obviously covering it because of the t-shirt. She didn't say another word before she goes out the room and just looked at basement seeing a man wearing a tie dye hoodie with his cap on.
Jaehyun doesn't wear any make up yet his skin was still bright, clear and almost perfect for a girl and she envy his so called rice cake skin she give him a small smile hugging him.
"I thought you would say no." He says telling the truth. "How could i say to no to you Jung?" She explains lowkey flirting with him.
He puts his hands on his pocket while they walk in the cold summer midnight and Sinb didn't mind the cold breeze since she just wants to be beautiful for herself. It was just like a ordinary friends walking in the corner exchanging smiles and stares until they got into the nearby coffee shop that has a two store and a quiet balcony.
"What would be your order?" Jaehyun asks pulling Sinb closer as he finds out that some guys were checking out her exposed thighs.
"Iced hazelnut macchiato will be great." She softly answers avoiding the eyes of the staff. She was thankful enough that they wore face masks and Jaehyun with his tie dye hoodie as well their hair color changed making them not known.
After taking their order the two started talking about their up coming schedules and comeback also about producing songs and creating a choreography mostly about career making. "This is what we called mature conversation." Sinb laughed.
She was too honest to herself she never experienced talking these kind of things with her significant other but looking at Jaehyun how well raised he is and how much he wants a younger sibling makes her heart soft. "I like these kind of topics it makes me wanna to take everything seriously." He said.
Jaehyun took a sip of his iced americano and notices that red suited her than they talked about it before of course he notices her hair color change but finding a perfect timing to give her a compliment. He was completely astonished by her new hair color and mostly the beauty inside her. "Fucking beautiful." He cursed.
A laugh and small amount of her drinks spills out in her mouth. She found it funny that he's cursing out of nowhere while looking at her, he offers her some tissue and helped cleaning the table covered with black. "It's fine." She smiles and looking to his eyes ah fuck he's one of jk's friends. "Beautiful?" She asks with a sarcastic tone raising a brow to him.
"Yes, red suits you." He smiled, messing her red hair while she grins lowkey annoyed but still loves the way he treats her. Jaehyun sits besides her and she suddenly rest her head into him for no reason it feels cozy. "Your shoulder it's so comfy like a bear." She commented.
"It's fine rest your head for awhile." He suggested trying to convince his heart to beat slowly since it's beating like crazy ever since they met. "The choreography and heels are killing you off recently." He yawned while talking not realizing that she's already sleeping.
For fun he took a photo of them while she's sleeping to his shoulder heavily and sends it to his close friends that there is a progress with them though it's slow it's still a progress. He sets a alarm for thirty minutes and didn't notice that he was also sleepy with his eyes slowly closing his eyes as well.
