"Can I touch your boobs?"
King choked on the lemonade he was drinking. He looked up at Rune in bewilderment, coughing slightly while his face was painted bright red. "Wh-what?" he stuttered, picking up a napkin to wipe his mouth. Rune looked down at King's chest, pointing at it, "May I-"
"No!" King exclaimed, quickly covering himself from Rune's prying eyes. Ever since they kissed each other for the first time, the older boy started to become bolder with each passing day.
His answer made the latter pout, before he continued eating the lunch in front of him. King merely shook his head.
"Rune, King!" a cheerful voice greeted. They turned their heads and found Fah jogging towards them. They looked in wonder as she was alone and for once without her brother by her side to keep her in check. She grabbed a chair from another table and set it to their table.
Just as she was about to take a seat, Rune decided to prank her, and pulled the chair back - making her stumble onto the floor.
She groaned in pain, letting out a stream of curses while Rune snickered and King looked away, trying not to laugh. She quickly got up, brushing off her pants and reaching out to slap her friend - who, much to her annoyance, dodged her hit - and finally sat down.
"Where's your brother?" King coughed, finally able to hold back his laugh.
"He's on a date," Fah said, reaching out and grabbing a fry from Rune's order. "Apparently."
"Since when was he interested in dating?" Rune chuckled. His question made the twin snickered. She shrugged, "Apparently since he met this girl. He won't tell me who it is, though."
"Maybe P'Gem?" King guessed, making the other two choke. They looked at him in disbelief, as though he said the most taboo thing ever. Their reactions made him raise an eyebrow in wonder.
"No way," Fah blanched. "They haven't been on speaking term ever since my brother rejected her confession last year."
"Really? " King tilted his head, wondering if his memory was fooling him.
"What made you guess that?" Rune reached out, taking hold of King's drink and taking a couple of sips despite having his own drink in front of him. King scratched his head, "I swear I saw them holding hands that one day I was going home alone..."
"King, you haven't been going home alone since Rune moved in with you. If that was the case then that would mean my brother's been hiding it for months...ooh," she chuckled, but both knew it wasn't out of amusement but anger.
"That bastard." Fah grumbled, standing up to leave. The two boys looked at each other. King gulped, wondering if he unintentionally created some sort of misunderstanding.
Seeing the younger boy was in a good mood, Rune decided to test his luck once more. "King."
"Hm?" King smiled at him.
"Can-"
"No."
Rune sighed.
"You're performing?" King smiled, settling down on the floor, and looking at Rune who was focused on the music score in front of him. Rune nodded, "Yeah. They want me to write a song for the performance too but I can't seem to get any ideas."
King nodded. He looked at rune with a fond smile, loving how concentrated the senior was. It was clear Rune had a clear passion for music. He would always play his guitar at least once a day. And from time to time sing for King.
