It's been two weeks since Chloe decided to embarrass me that day. We both would give each other death glares and I'd like to keep it this way. But Adrien always pushes me to give her some time and to forgive her when I'm ready. Like that's ever going to happen. I just have to make sure that she doesn't know anything about Paige. Before I moved to France, some bitch decided to get her involved into our school drama. I am not making that same mistake twice.

I still get escorted everywhere, like I am never alone and it sucks. If I ever need to use the restroom, my teacher always has one of the girls in our class come with me to "make sure I don't get into any trouble". They probably read all of my behavior history so their taking precautions but still...I need my alone time in the bathroom alright.

Now we are all headed to lunch, yep...me, my new friends, and my security guard! How awesome is that? We all talk about their families and stuff like that. It turns out Alya has two sisters named Heaven and Neveah (note: written before they had canon names). Man, Paige would have gotten along with them perfectly well if I hadn't been a dumbass for the majority of my life. It also turns out that Adrien had a little sister named Nora but she passed away. He wouldn't tell me how but I don't want to get into that.

After school, I went to pick up Paige and we had to mail our grandma her birthday card. Paige never met our grandma but that's because she's our moms mom. Grandma isn't eligible to take care of us right now because she lives in a very small house with only one room and bathroom. She's been working hard for years to buy a new place and eventually have us live with her instead. So me and Paige always give her about 50 dollars every year to save up. We both save up money we find around the house or whenever we go outside the house.

"I'm sorry we couldn't give grandma 50 dollars this year", Paige says as we put in about 35 dollars in her card, "I wasn't able to save up as much this year."

I tell her not to worry and grandma will love the gift. I want to make sure that Paige doesn't blame herself for everything. After all, I don't want her to end up like me.

We start walking towards the post office so we can mail grandmas gift. Until I had seen a certain blonde walking by. I knew that shit was gonna get real if I didn't get Paige out of here. We hid in a little alleyway for a couple of seconds until I saw that it was clear for us to go.

"Mari, why were we hiding right there?" Paige asks me as we both tried to speed walk our way to the post office. Before I could even get a word out after that-

"Yeah Marinette Dupain-Cheng, why don't you tell your little sister why you two were hiding?"

I recognized that voice well. Well enough to know that it belonged to the infamous Chloe Bourgeois. I turned around slowly and glared right at the Barbie brat. Shit was going to get real.

"What the hell do you want Chloe?" I annoyingly asked the brat.

"Oh I'm sorry, I don't mean to interrupt your little bonding time with your little sister." Chloe snarked at me, "I mean I'm assuming she's your little sister, but you never mentioned any siblings."

Without saying any words after that, me and Paige walked away before the situation could escalate and before hand could get thrown at. I was thinking about how if things escalated, it would result to me possibly going back to juvenile hall and Paige stuck with mom. The last place I want Paige to be is with mom.

"Who was that?" Paige asked as we turned around a corner to the post office.

I didn't know what to tell her, so I told her the one way to protect her, "That's someone you should definitely stay away from."
