Marinettes POV

As soon as I got home, I ran to my room to find all of my blades but before I could do anything, I heard a faint whisper from Tikki saying, "Why?"

I look up and I see tears forming in her eyes. Fucking fantastic Marinette...you made the one person that cares about you upset!

I sighed as I reached to hold her and she cried on my hands, "Tikki I'm sorry. I didn't think I would be hurting anyone. It wasn't my intention to hurt you you know."

Tikki flew to my cheek and hugged me and I used my hand to pat her head as I let a tear escape myself.

"Marinette you need to tell me about these things. I've seen it happen before...except I was too late most of the time! I've lost too many owners to this and there is no way in hell that I'm losing you to this either you hear me!"

Oh no...I fucked up really badly! I don't want Tikki to go through that again. Not at all! I need to try to get better...for her, for Adrien, for Paige....for me.

"I'm sorry Tikki, I had no idea...I'm gonna keep trying to get better! I don't wanna do that to you and I most definitely don't want you to go through that again!" I cried as she hugged me tight on the cheek. She looked up at me with her teary eyes and wiped them away.

Tikki let out a sigh and then flew to my jacket pocket. Shit! She grabbed the blades I stole from Adriens unused razors.

"Marinette this has to stop. I'm sorry but I can't let you do this to yourself!" Tikki spoke up in a serious tone while putting any other sharp objects in a pile so I wouldn't use anything else to cut myself with. It was getting late so I decided to get changed and lay down. I just wish I wasn't like this.

I sat up and said my nightly prayer. It helped me sleep when Paige was still around. I never did it again after her disappearance, but if im gonna get better then might as well start by not getting nightmares.

Time skip (4:30am)

I unfortunately wake up from a nightmare! I have a little sweat coming down from my forehead as I started crying into my hands. I turned my head to see if Tikki was still awake. With my luck, she isn't up and awake. I was right! I get up to walk to the bathroom to wash my face.

When I finish that I went to the kitchen to grab a snack and go on my phone for a little just to see what's going on on Twitter when the first thing I see was a lot of messages from Adrien. It was sent from when I was going to sleep. It read...

I dropped my glass of water that ended up braking on the ground which snapped me out of my thoughts. I kept cursing as I got the broom to sweep up all of the glass when I see Fu running in with a worried expression.

"I'm so so so so so sorry sir! I'm cleaning it up right now!" I reassure him.

He grabs the dustpan and throws away the glass pieces that were there and takes the broom from me, "Marinette I am your caretaker and legal guardian therefor I need to take care of you, besides what are you doing up so late?"

I sat down at the table and begin fiddling with my fingers. As soon as Fu is done, he sits next to me and starts staring at me with a serious face.

"I was just getting a drink of water after I had...a nightmare." I shyly admitted. He gives me a intimating look at first until he signals someone in. I turn around to see who it was...and to my fucking surprise it's Tikki.
