Their Royal Stubbornness

After another round of cat and mouse, you found yourself cradled in The Pale Kings arms. You had a couple guesses on where you were going, but you couldn't move and he was heading away from the abyss. You still didn't trust anything he did or said, despite him keeping his word of not hurting you. You just wanted to go home.
"... You DO know that I'm keeping you right? I wont hurt you! You can stop being so tense." He laughed and you shot him a dirty look. You knew that It couldn't be true. And even so, you weren't at home trying to beat Nightmare King Grimm, which was the alternative to this... predicament.
What you didn't know was that he was screaming internally and thousands of panicked thoughts ran through his fork like head. "HOW DO I EXPLAIN THIS?! THEY LITERALLY AND QUITE EXPLICITLY TOLD ME TO COME BACK WITH ONE VESSEL NOT TWO!"

You sighed and pressed your head to his chest. Trapped in the arms of your (very small) enemy, wonderful. Just wonderful.
So much for a peaceful day. You had so many questions. How will you get home? Why are you a vessel? What time is it? How do vessels eat? What part of the game were you in? You nearly facepalmed over the last one. You were clearly in pre game.
You wished you had a voice to ask the other questions, but CLEARLY that wasn't going to work. "You need a name..." The Pale King muttered under his breath. You looked at him with a look of absolute disapproval and huffed.
"Do you not want a name? Too bad. How about... Green? No... Silence? That doesn't work..." The Higher Being began to ramble on about possible names. Some of them almost didn't sound half bad, but he always just kept listing and listing. By the time the two of you arrived at the white palace, you just wanted him to shut up.
You didn't realize how absolutely beautiful and oddly out of place The White Palace actually was until you were right there in front of it. Some guards looked at the two of you oddly but let you two in without question.

The interior was not exactly what you expected. There were no floating platforms, no buzz saw symphony in the background, nothing. It looked, well, normal. Some people dressed in white approached you and the King. "...Sir,-" one said timidly and no less than a millisecond later the easily recognizable (underrated) Dryya burst through a door and "FINALLY! What took you so long-" she stopped mid step upon seeing you. You found this quite amusing and made a light, oddly hollow sounding, very quiet giggle.
Everyone stared at you in shock and the silence was only broke with another outburst from Dryya. "DUDE, what is THAT impure THING doing here?!" Ouch. That hurt.
Dryya tended to lack respect when speaking to anyone unless there were more than 3 people in the room. The Pale King always knew that but what she said was rather rude. "This..." he picked you up and held you up on display like Simba "...Is my seemingly very sentient child, ...Err... I still don't have a name for it."
She rolled her eyes and smirked. "Have fun explaining it to everyone else..." Dryya jumped out a window nearby and heard a crash, yell of pain, and Dryya yell "Sorry!!"
The Pale King sighed and met your eyes. "How about I show you around. Even though I am not letting you out of my sight for a while, it is still nice to know your surroundings." You squirmed in his hands and he chuckled. Holding you like a baby, you began your tour of the white palace.

After a lengthy tour and a lot of odd looks, you found yourself wearing a collar and leash and being tied to a pole. "Stay here." The Pale King said quietly, walking away and though a door you hadn't seen before. Sure, you had seen a lot of doors. A secret passage way though the path of pain (which was nothing like it was in the game), a couple million doors leading to library's, and a bunch other really odd things, but you knew this door was new because at had initials carved into a wood sign. They were T.W.L. You kind of assumed what this meant and knew that shit was about to get awkward.
You clawed at your restraints uncomfortably, surveying your surroundings, and looking for the fastest way out. Sadly, you didn't get the chance to escape because the next thing you know, The Pale King was back, this time accompanied by The White Lady. She was A LOT smaller than you expected but still towering over you. She also looked nothing like how you expected. She squeaked and crouched down, her light blue eyes conveying excitement as she waved to you and introduced herself. "Hiiii!! Oh my gosh aren't you adorable! I'm your mother, and awwwww, you are so cute!!!" She cupped your face and asked "Whats your name?" You shrugged and she looked at her husband. "No clue." "Well arent you helpful." She unclipped the leash and held you to her chest. "I dont care where you got it or why for now anyway, but they're fucking adorable. Now it needs a name." You were taken aback. Did she just SWEAR-
They discussed possible names for 10 minutes before they agreed that it could wait until the morning. They kissed and White went back into her study room thing (based on the looks of it). The Pale King (you decided to call him Pale for short) Reclipped the leash and untied you, nearly dragging you as you stubbornly dug your feet into the floor, refusing to move. You personally preferred your new mother over your dad, and you wanted to stay with her in her arms forever. She was surprisingly soft for a tree.
After a half an hour of being dragged around, Pale picked you up and went into one of the hot spring rooms. Kicking and squirming, he ran over to it and dropped you into it, swearing excessively at you. You paused your attempts to escape when your body hit the water and you resurfaced. The water was warm, but not hot like you expected. It smelled nice and you felt the dread in your stomach lift. You looked up at Pale in confusion only to find him gone. Now was your chance, but you didn't want to move.
He came back a moment later with a light blue cloak, similar to Hornets but with a bow at the neck and gestured for you to come to him. You huffed and sat down in the shallow waters, crossing your arms and giving him a glare that said "I'm not moving." He groaned and came to your side of the pool and picked you up by the undersides of your arms. "Alright your royal stubbornness, Guess I'll do it myself." You squirmed but to no avail did you get out of his hands. He carefully placed the cloak around your horns and over your head. It was soft and cozy, like a pillow you could crawl inside. He cradled you once more and began to walk out of the steamy room.
You watched vacantly as the white interior of the palace faded into black, and yourself slip into a dreamless, yet comforting sleep.
Pale smiled as he saw your eyes slightly close and you go limp. Today must've been tiring for such a small being. He TOTALLY didn't Tranquilize you while you were squirming around in his hands a few minutes ago. TOTALLY. He entered a dark room where Pure was seated on a padded desk chair, vacantly starring into nothing. He Placed you down on a table and retrieved two blankets, One a soft grey, The other a Light White. He placed the Grey over your sleeping form and the white over Hollow's feet. He left the room and closed the door behind him, encasing the two of you in darkness. Tomorrow was when the real chaos would commence. But for now, he would leave the two to sleep.

When you awoke, You were in an unfamiliar room all alone. A single window was the only source of light. Pushing yourself up, you Opened the door you saw and went through, finding it unlocked. Stepping through the halls quietly, You wandered until you saw the Throne Room, and stepped into it. Several pairs of eyes all turned to you and you paused mid step. Pale was seated on the far side of the room in a chair, and he looked like he was getting ratted out by Mom and a few others. Mom all turned and smiled sweetly. "Hello dear, the adults are having a conversation right now, go play somewhere else."
Pale gave you a look of "PLEASE SAVE ME" and you shrugged, giving him a smug look and strolling out. You internally laughed to yourself and looked for the kitchen. You were going to figure out how to eat, because you were STARVING.
