The next day at first light Daniel and Victoria are already dressed and armed to the teeth. They have a quick breakfast and meet up with the others at the edge of the bridge. The cars are ready and Victoria spots the Holy Trinity already on its way to the Isle.

"Let's go" Mal says. They ride in three cars, Lonnie, Jay and Evie in one, Ben, Carlos and Jane in the second, and Mal and Victoria in the third. If Hades has to be taken off the isle he'll travel with Mal and Victoria, the strongest.

The ride across the bridge goes without any troubles and before long they stop in front of the Isle barrier. They all get out and stand staring at their once home. Taking a deep breath and squaring their shoulders Mal, Jay and Victoria step forward

"Ben open the barrier" Mal orders and Ben opens a hole for them to go through. Once they've crossed the barrier closes behind them, both Mal and Victoria can feel their magic being stifled and take a deep breath.

"We've got this" Jay says squeezing both their hands, without allowing themselves to turn around they take a step forward and head for Hades's lair.

The three of them stand before the skull doors. Mal takes a step forward and is about to open the door when a gust of wind opens them

"It's open?" Mal frowns, Jay and Victoria draw their weapons and stand ready. They follow Mal inside, carefully and on high alert. They walk down the steps and look around the empty room. It's messy just like last time Mal was there. Nothing seems out of place, there are no signs of a fight or a struggle.

"Spread out" Jay says "check all the rooms"

"Be careful" Victoria says as she takes the room closest to her. She kicks the door open and stands with her back to the wall.

The room is completely empty.

Without letting her guard down she scans the room and then steps forward. It's a study. She checks behind the door and steps cautiously towards the desk. There no one there. The desk is full of papers. Victoria sees some letters written in a pretty purple ink. There's a small cabinet there and despite it being a bit impossible for Hades to be hiding there she still checks but there's only journals and a few pens inside. Frustrated she walks out

"Empty!" She calls and Jay emerges from the room next to her

"Empty" he shakes his head

"Empty" Mal says from the room in front of them.

"I don't understand Hades never leaves his place where could he be?" Victoria asks looking around the couch and the other rooms for any sort of clue

"Could he be somewhere else on the Isle?" Jay asks Mal who shakes her head

"His fridge is full so he's not out for food and besides he's always been uninterested in anything the Isle has to offer and know that everyone is gone I doubt he'd start to wonder around" Jay sighs and joins Victoria in searching for answers, Victoria goes back into his study maybe he wrote down where he was.

Victoria takes the journals and hands them to Mal and Jay, she takes the letters she found, the ones written in purple ink

"Look through those maybe he mentions another hiding spot or someplace he usually goes to" Victoria grumbles "I'll look at these"

The three of them start reading. Victoria is a bit confused with the first two letters but by the third one she realizes she has them out of order. She organizes them from oldest to newest and starts reading again.

They're love letters she realizes. Hades was writing to someone, but her name is never mentioned. Victoria assumes it's Persephone since in the myths she's his wife but it's just a hypothesis.
