"I'm not sure this was the best plan" Mal gasps as she dives for a third time out of the reach of the hydra

"Well maybe if Jay hadn't started slashing and cutting of their heads we wouldn't be in this situation!" Uma yells and Jay huffs indignant

"I said I was sorry" he grumbles

"And I said not to cut off it's heads" Uma retorts but Daniel lays a hand on her arm

"Yelling at each other wont help us beat it" he says and everyone takes a calming breath

"How many heads are there?" Mal asks looking at the small cut on her arm

"Thirteen" Evie grunts, she tries to adjust herself better behind the boulder she and Mal are hiding behind but her broken leg doesn't let her move that much

"Twelve!" Victoria yells there's a sickening sound as the head of the hydra falls to ground and the wound spurts blood and poison. Victoria produces a fire ball and throws it at the stump, cauterizing it and preventing another head from sprouting

"Are you okay?" Daniel yells peaking from behind his boulder, Victoria kneels outside of the hydra's reach breathing heavily, there's blood on her but most of it is from the hydra, she does have some burn marks from the poison though.

"Peachy" Victoria laughs and smiles at him, the hydra roars getting their attention once more and opens it's twelve mouths

"Duck!" Daniel yells as the hydra spits poison everywhere, Mal creates a shield above them but even the shield smokes and hisses at the poison lands on it. The hydra stops just as the shield is about to give out

"We need a plan!" Ben shouts

"If you have any suggestions I'm all ears!" Uma yells back, Ben grits his teeth to stop himself from yelling something more at Uma and instead starts thinking of a plan

"Mal can you transform into a dragon?" Daniel asks

"I think so" Mal nods

"Good, we'll attack the hydra while it's distracted by you and try to chop of it's heads and you'll shoot fire at the stumps before they grow back" Daniel lays out the plan Mal nods, Ben doesn't look too pleased about it

"She'll be too exposed" Ben counters

"She'll be fine" Evie grunts "you're the ones that will have to get close enough to actually cutt he heads"

"Don't worry Ben I'm not tired I can do this" Mal smiles reassuringly, Ben shakes his head and wants to argue but there's no time.

"Victoria how are you holding up?" Jay asks

"Fine but if you could hurry up that would be wonderful" Victoria laughs as sweat beads her forehead, keeping a full grown hydra chained is no easy task and Victoria is starting to feel the strain of the magic, her eyes have started to glow with the effort but she grits her teeth and keeps the iron shackles on the hydra's back legs secure.

Mal takes calming breaths and starts to transform

"Now!" Uma yells as Mal fully transforms and lifts herself into the air, the hydra immediately turns it's attention to her and opens three of it's mouth and starts spitting out poison. Evie grunts in pain as she struggles to turn to look at the fight. The hydra alternates opening it's mouth to continually spit poison at Mal who's doing her best to avoid the jets.

"Mal!" Jay yells as he chops off one of the heads, Mal spins to avoid an attack and dives down her mouth open and fire building in her throat. Her aim could do some work but it does the job, the stub is seared. Mal quickly pulls up as one of the heads snaps at her feet Victoria pulls the chain and the hydra misses.
