We sit outside for a little bit, prepping ourselves to go inside.
"Uhm, Cam? You probably don't want to hear this right now, but Steph and I gotta go..." Destiny says quickly.
"What? No, I'm not going in there without you guys!" I tell her.
"Relax! Nick will be with you the whole time." Destiny tries reassuring me.
"But-" I start, but Destiny is already dragging Steph away.
"Good luck!" Steph shouts while being pulled across the sidewalk.
"Nick, we don't have to do this if-" I begin, when he interrupts me.
"Come on Cam, let's go. I know you want to do this, so let's get it over with." He says while grabbing my hand and leading me inside.
"Thanks Nick, you're the best." I say with a smile as he holds the door open for me. Here goes nothing.
We walk in and sit down at the counter. Nick pulls up a stool next to me, and we wait there. For half an hour.
"Maybe he's just running a little late?" Nick suggests.
I shake my head. "I'm so sorry I dragged you into this... I'm so stupid! I can't believe that I trusted a stranger..." I say sadly.
"Hey, it's not your fault. A lot has been on your mind lately, and you've had a rough day." He says while placing a hand on my shoulder. I nod, and he smiles.
"Now what?" He asks.
"I say we go home." I say. I take the note that I was given from the stranger, then I shove it back in my pocket. I will NOT call him. We get up and leave Jamba Juice, then begin heading home. It's already starting to get dark out, and very humid.
"Thunderstorm." Nick says as he looks at the sky. I nod, also looking at the sky. I've always loved storms for some reason. I'm not going to lie, they freak me the frick out, but I've always sensed a certain beauty about them. I love the colors that the sky turns into during them, and how it lights up with every lightning strike.
I become so caught up with thinking about storms that I don't realize that Nick isn't next to me anymore. I stop and turn around, only to not see anyone else around here. They probably started leaving because of the storm, and Nick probably went to pick up garbage or something because he is that type of person. This also happens to be another place that not too many people walk through, so nobody being here isn't too strange. I continue walking when I hear the first crack of thunder. I jump, then continue to walk. Next, two people show up walking on both sides of me.
I get a little freaked out because I hadn't seen them before, so I start walking faster. When they speed up as well, I know something is going on. I stop walking, and so do they. They are both wearing all black, along with sunglasses and hoodies.
"Can I help you?" I ask as polite as possible, given that they were following me.
"Are you her?" The one on the right asks.
"Excuse me?" I ask with a confused look on my face.
"Jamba Juice. Are you her?" The other one asks. I blink twice before answering.
"Uhm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about." I say, pretending to have no clue what they're talking about. They must be friends with stranger. I start to walk past them, when two more guys dressed in black step out from behind a bush.
"Look guys, I'm sure you mean well, but I gotta go." I say while walking faster. Another boy steps out in front of me and grabs my arm, forcing me to stop. All of the other guys surround me, blocking my exits. That's it. I'm about to be gang raped. Or murdered.
"Let go." I say sharply, before looking up to see the one who grabbed me. It was stranger! Well, the stranger from before my meeting.
"You!" I say while glaring at him.
"Please, let me explain." He starts.
"I will call the police!" I say angrily. Probably not though, I am pretty outnumbered. Where the hell is Nick right now?
"Camden, please." He says.
I freeze.
"How do you know my name?" I ask.
"I'll tell you, just let me explain-" he begins.
"I'm not listening until you let go of me." I say. My heart is pounding, and I feel like I'm about to have an asthma attack. Show no fear, Cam. Is this one of those times where if I don't move, they can't see me?
He stays quiet for a second, then releases me.
"Boys, back away." He says.
"Okay, Cam-" he begins.
"Camden, to you." I interrupt.
"Right. I- I'm Harry Styles." He says while removing his hood and sunglasses. The other boys do the same. I don't even blink. Everyone is silent, as if anticipating what I'll do next.
"You're kidding, right? You acted like a creepy stalker because you're famous? Did you think that no other celebrities ever come to Disney?" I ask.
"Usually we get a hug and some screams when we introduce ourselves." Niall says.
"You do know who we are, right??" Stranger- I mean Harry asks, dumbfounded.
"Of course! I'm not an idiot. You're One Direction. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go." I say while beginning to walk away. The boys all stare at me with their mouths open.
"Wait!" Harry says.
"Look Harry, I've met a few celebrities while working here. I don't really want to be involved with that kind of living." I tell him. He looks at the ground for a second, and I feel bad for being such a jerk.
"I'm sure you're a nice guy, but-" I begin to say.
"Then give me a chance! Let me- and the boys- prove to you that not all celebrities are assholes!" He says.
I stare at him for a second, then shake my head. "Goodbye, Harry." I say. "Goodbye, boys." I add before walking away.
"Are you just going to let her go?" I hear Louis ask.
"She'll be back." Harry replies and I roll my eyes.
