Ready To Run

Chapter 10

I buy Skylynn an Elsa dress and braid her hair. Wyatt is 17, so he felt too old to dress up like a Disney character.

"You sure?" I ask. "You could be Prince Charming." I say while lightly pinching his cheeks.

"Or not." He says with a laugh.

"Okay I'm going to go change and get ready for work, you two can hang out. Meet me before closing time, okay?" I tell them. They both nod while Skylynn grabs Wyatt's hand and drags him through Disney World. I smile and head into the dressing room.

I quickly get dressed and head over to the location I'm supposed to be playing Elsa at. Right now, Nick, or Kristoff, is the only one working. I smile and join him as a bunch of little kids squeel and run over to the line.

"Look! Elsa's here!" One of them shouts.

We get through a long line of children, and we're just about to head back to the dressing room when someone comes up behind me.

"Funny seeing you here again!" The British accent says.

I spin around to see Harry, once again with the other boys of One Direction.

"Oh look! Just who I didn't want to see." I say sarcastically and they boys all start laughing.

"Feisty... I like it." Harry says with a wink.

I roll my eyes and Nick puts his hand on my shoulder.

"And what may your name be... Kristoff?" Harry asks with amusement in his eyes.

"Nick." He states while shaking Harry's hand. I start to walk away, but Harry stops me.

"So you're showing us around tomorrow?" He asks.

"Actually, I have to decide by 8 if I'm going to. Right now, I think not." I say as he runs up in front of me.

"What? Why?" He asks, right when Wyatt and Skylynn walk up to us.

"Cam! Look what I got!" Sky says as she holds up a giant teddy bear bigger than her. I glare at Harry as I bend down towards Sky.

"I love it! How'd you get that?" I say with a smile.

"Wyatt won it for me!" She says with a grin. Next, she looks at Harry.

"Oh my gosh!" She screams as she throws the giant bear at me and runs over to hug him. He laughs and picks her up. She's loved One Direction since she first heard them, a year or two ago.

"What's your name, cutie?" He asks.

"Skylynn!" She says while grinning bigger than she ever has since before the accident. The other boys come closer to us along with Nick.

"Hey boys, meet Skylynn and- what's your name, lad?" He says while nodding at Wyatt.

"Wyatt." He says with his hands in his pocket.

The boys all say hi, and I walk over to Harry with the giant bear.

"Trade ya." I say. He sets Sky down and she runs to hug all of the boys. Harry takes the bear and hands it to Wyatt.

"Now why don't you love us that much?" He asks with a laugh. I shrug and laugh too. "As for you, come on a date with me. With us." He quickly corrects himself. "Give us a fair chance. If you hate it, you don't have to guide us. If you have the time of your life, then you spend the rest of your life with us!" He says jokingly. I consider this, watching how happy Sky is with the boys.

"One date. That's it." I say. He sticks his hand out and I shake it.

"Deal." He says. "Let's roll boys, we have to make Camden love us so that she can give us the tour this month." Harry says to the boys. I turn to Wyatt and Sky, unsure of what to do.

"I'll take them home." Nick says to me. I give him a quick hug.

"Thank you." I say quietly. I hug my siblings, and Skylynn wraps around me tightly.

"Please help them," she says. "Please." I look from her to the boys, then nod.

"I'll try." I say with a smile. They walk away and I'm left with the boys. We begin walking.

"So what is your favorite nickname?" Louis asks.

"Well, I'm called Cammie or Cam a lot. Also, I'm called Sawyer because it's my last name." I explain.

"I like Cammie." Harry says with a wink. All of the other boys nod and agree.

"So Cam, where do you stand on food?" Niall asks.

"Well," I start with a laugh. "It's one thing on this earth that I can always count on. I love it." I say with another laugh.

"Harry, I'm keeping her." Niall says while leading me over to the other side of the boys.

"What's your favorite color?" Zayn asks. I laugh, because Emily and Skylynn both love One Direction, so I've read and seen many things on the boys. I thought Zayn was the mysterious one?

"Blue." I say. "Definitely blue."

"Are you a people person?" Liam asks with a smile.

"Mostly, yes. When you work at Disney, you have to be!" I say. "Sorry if I came off as rude to you guys, you seem way different than other celebrities. Usually they're jerks who don't care about people like me." I say. Louis sniffles a little, and fake wipes a tear off of his face.

"We care about you!" He says while wrapping an arm around me.

"Yeah!" The other boys join. I can already feel myself liking these boys, but I can't. I barely know them, and this all could end up being an act. Still, I feel attracted to them.

"And you had a perfectly good reason to be rude. We've met quite a few rude celebrities." Louis says.

"Well thanks." I say with a smile. Louis bows, while I join the boys in laughing at his gesture. Oh, boy. Or should I say, oh, boys? This is going to be a long month.
