Someone was shaking me slightly, as my body flinched and my eyes flickered. My best friend Savannah was sitting beside me shaking my arm. I somehow woke up in bed after falling asleep on the couch. My aunt must've carried me and layed me in bed when the movie had finished.
"Harri? Harri?" she called quietly as I let out a sigh.
"Hm?" I huffed as I closed my eyes again giving her the signal that I was listening.
"Harri, it's 9:00 time to get up," get up? Get UP? At 9:00... Am? On a saturday? Was she kidding? Seriously I don't understand how my aunt even gets up before 9:00, let alone my best friend. I opened my eyes again really slowly as I saw her smiling down at me.
"No..." I said to her pulling my dooner cover over my head, "I'm warm and it's like 10 degrees outside, and in here" I slowly mumbled as I heard her chuckle.
"Come on, babe! You've got half an hour to get ready, I know you dont take so long... We're going shopping" once again... Shopping? At 9am? What is this? I honestly don't know how she could be so energetic in the morning. I sometimes come to school and she seems like she didn't even lose her energy before she went to bed the night before. Although, I did understand how she wanted to go shopping, she loved it. She had a great fashion sense and she has 'the look' as people would say. She has long hair which is caramel with a bit of red in it, her eyes are blue and her skin is quite tanned, she always knew the way to dress, whereas with me I didn't really care what I wore, as long as I looked decent. Today she was wearing some nice black converse, some plain black leggings with a white v-neck and a leather jacket while she added some nice accecories with her outfit; A cross ring, 3 beaded bracelets and a T necklace.
After a quick shower I got out feeling fresh and finally awoken by the hot steam on my body. I went to my room with my towel wrapped around me, heading to my closet to find something nice to wear. I dried the rest of my body and soaking hair with my towel and put on some nice grey faded jeans, a simple black jumper and mustard coloured vans. I added a few bangles on my left wrist and let my hair dry naturally while I took my time to do my make-up, which for me really only took 5 minutes. As I was walking out of my door I grabbed my phone on my dresser and put it in my pocket.
I walked into the lounge while Savannah was on her phone waiting for me. I signaled her by pointing to the door basically saying that was I ready to go. We decided to walk to the plaza which was only a few blocks away. There was silence for a few minutes until a subject must've came to her mind.
"Oh my God! Guess what?!" she said in excitement as I raised my eyebrows in a fright. "One Direction are coming here! Here! Here!" I rolled my eyes and giggled a little that turned my lips into a smirk.
"Really?" I said as I turned to her smiling. She was a big One Direction fan, and I know that she would do anything to meet them, or see them. Her whole room was covered with just posters and pictures of the boys, it was crazy. Sometimes I would tease her telling her that she would never be able to even get one of their numbers, she would always scrunch her eyebrows and say 'there's always hope!' as I'd giggle and shake my head. Personally, for me, I was not a fan. Two years ago when I was 15, yes. But now, no. I had finally grown out of them I guess you could say, but they were getting old for me now.
"Oh man, I wish they would just noticed me" Savannah said as I rolled my eyes and turned back facing to the front where I was walking. Finally after talking about One Direction for which seemed like forever we finally reached the Plaza and a question popped into my head.
"Wait, so... Can you tell me exactly why we're here?" I asked Savannah as I stopped walking in my tracks.
"Oh, you're coming to a party with me tonight." Savannah said as my mouth dropped. Yes, she was a bit of a party girl, one of those who loved to stay home but every now and then would go out and get completely exhausted.
