You're My World

Chapter 2

Michael's POV

We walked into a shop in New Castle and started to look around. The boys and I had a day off and decided some new clothes was much needed; seeing as all of our clothes has holes that we cut. Once we found the things we wanted, we headed up to the counter. Halfway there there we stopped and saw one of the most prettiest girls I have ever seen. She seemed to be trying on a dress that looked amazing on her. When she saw us all staring, you could see the pink tint on her sun-kissed cheeks. She quickly ran back into the dressing room. We all scurried off to the purchase counter and also paid and made sure that mystery girl got that dress.

While Calum and Ashton used the restroom, Luke and I decided to look around again. Once they were out, we left. The boys wanted to go get Nando's, but all I wanted was to talk to the mystery girl. I looked around and spotted the head of light brown locks sitting at a bench. I walked up to the bench and plopped down.

"Hi, I'm Michael." I waited for a reply. She looked like she was trying to figure out if she should answer me or not. Eventually she spoke up and said, "I'm Lauren."

"Well Lauren would you mind to accompany me and my friends at a lunch at Nando's?" I asked. Her faced showed hesitation and slight confusion.

The next words that came out of the cute brunette's mouth almost gave me a heart attack. "Um...What's Nando's?" I just now registered her accent and it sounded very American. My mouth hung open as I just stared at her in shock. "What?" Lauren asked innocently.

"Okay, you are coming to Nando's." I stood up and held out my hand, signaling to come with me. She took my hand and we started to walk, soon parting our hands. We arrived and soon made our way to the rest of the guys.

"Who would this be?" Ashton asked. I introduced her and the whole time Luke's' eyes didn't move from Lauren's. We chat and order our food. "Are you from America?" Calum suddenley says.

"Yeah, I'm here for a couple months or longer for my university. I have to go around Australia and write a paper about what I learned." Lauren explains. As she explains an idea comes to my head and I'm sure the band would agree that's an amazing idea. I thought and decided on first discussing it with the band. After we got our food and ate it, we invited Lauren back to our Sydney band house.

"Hope we see you soon, Lauren." Ashton winked. "You need to stay the night, I will not leave my new best friend alone on her first night in Australia." Calum claimed. Lauren rolled her eyes,"All my stuff is back in New Castle and I only met you guys a couple hours ago." She argued. "Which is an hour away and you can just wear one of our shirts, It'll will be long on you" Calum reasoned. "Fine, Calum." She sat back down and crossed her arms like a toddler.

As Calum and I resumed are game of Fifa, I saw Luke across the room staring at Lauren. He eventually got up and sat down by her and talking to her. I ignored them and refocused on the game I was currently losing.

Sorry fror a short chapter and late update. I have been busy with school. I had to read 2 books and write essays on them. I wish I could just drop out.
