You're My World

Chapter 3

Lauren's POV

It was around 12:00 when the boys were starting to get tired. I was still jet-legged, so I wasn't tired at all. "Hey, um where do I sleep?" I spoke up as Michael handed me one of the boys' band t-shirts and a pair of grey sweats. The boys looked at each other and shrugged. "You pick a bed, and that is that is what bed you share." Calum explained with an evil smile.

I examined all the beds to try to figure out who slept where, but they all looked the same. I pointed to the one in the corner of the room. All the boy looked at Luke. "Um, I'll sleep on the couch if you want." Luke asked me. "No, no I won't get much sleep tonight anyway. I am going to go get dressed." I headed to the bathroom and slipped on the Misfits shirt and long sweat pants.

I walked back into the room and all the boys were already in their beds. I walked over to Luke's bed and and slipped in; not getting to close to the tall, skinny boy. I sat there for about an hour and couldn't even get a little bit of sleep. I quietly slipped out of the bed and grabbed my backpack and walked into the living room. I pulled out my laptop and downloaded the picture I took today. I emailed Conner the picture and added a paragraph about how my first day here was so far. I sent it then got on photoshop and started to play around with my picture.

It was now around 2:00am and I still wasn't tired. "Hey, what are you doing up?" a voice said tiredly. I turned around and saw Luke. "I woke up and you weren't there so I came to see where you went." he explained.

"Oh, I am still jet-legged and couldn't fall asleep. Don't worry about me, you can go back to sleep."

"I can't just leave you out here bored." Luke plops down beside you. I look over at him and see the bags under his eyes, feeling bad that he is staying up for me. "Are you sure." I ask. He just nods his head.

"So what are you doing?" He puts his head on my shoulder to see my computer. I answer, "Just messing around with this photo." I point to the screen. Luke just nods his head tiredly. I go back to editing and brightening things in the picture. I look back over to Luke who is still leaning on my shoulder. I chuckle as I see he has fallen asleep. I shut my computer as I start to get tired. I grab the blanket on top of the couch and cover both Luke and I. Before I know it I am drifting off to sleep. I feel Luke move a little and here him say, "Goodnight beautiful." And I fall asleep.

"Awe, look how cute they are." I hear a familar voice. "I am going to wake them." I hear another. "Don't wake them up, Michael." I hear the first voice. I stir and feel pressure on my shoulder. I slowly open my eyes and see Ashton, Calum, and Michael looking down at me. I try to move and notice Luke now waking up right beside me.

"Breakfast is ready, lovebirds" Calum said. Luke and I look at each other with a confused look. "What?" I ask. "Just come and get your breakfast." He replies.

After breakfast, I put my clothes from yesterday back on and tell the guys I have to head back to where I was staying. They all gave me their numbers incase I wanted to hang out again or needed a place to stay. I grabbed my backpack and headed back to my place. It took about an hour to get back.

As soon as I got to my room, I plopped down on my bed and sat their for a moment. My phone vibrating breaking the silence. I checked it and it came from Michael asking of I got here safe. I replied with "Yep!" and the thumbs up emoji then threw my phone on my bed and headed for the shower.
