Y/N's POV
A month has passed since I last saw my friends, because I spent my winter break in Korea. I haven't seen my parents for almost a year so I had to go home and spend time with them.
Today is the release of the new game me and Junlin have been waiting for. We decided to buy the game together and play it here in my place.
"I'm so excited!!", said Junlin and playfully hit me. I just laughed at him because he looks like a kid.
We went to the store and there were lots of people. It took us 2 hours to get the game that we wanted because the line was so long.
We were so excited to go back and play the game. We ordered lots of snacks so we won't get hungry while playing which felt like heaven.
We started to play but I'm really bad at it
"Linlin this is so hard", I said and fake cried. He took my controller and finished the boss battle for me.
"Thank you you're the best", I thanked him and hugged him playfully.
"Do you know that it's my birthday tomorrow? What's your birthday gift for me?", he asked. Oooops I'm not good in memorizing birthdays so I didn't know.
"Y-yes how could I forget your birthday", I lied. I smiled nervously.
"Hmmm.", then he continued to play.
We played until midnight since the game was so addictive. My hands were sore from playing too much and my eyes feel heavy. I stopped playing and just watched Junlin play.
"What gift do you want?", I asked him.
"You", he said with a straight face.
"Huh?", I said looking so confused.
"I said, you", he said while still playing.
"What me?", I asked still looking so confused.
"Will go on a date with me tomorrow?", he asked and stopped playing so he's now looking at me. I thought he was just kidding so I laughed loudly.
"Why are you laughing?", he asked.
"You're jokes are getting funnier, way to go linlin", I playfully hit him.
"It's not a joke", he said.
"You should go out with someone you like, not me", I explained.
"But I like you", he said and turned off his switch. He suddenly kissed me and started to pack his things.
"I'll take that as my birthday gift"
"I'll pick you up tomorrow at 9:30", he said and left.
