Louis' POV
After nandos I drove Matty 10 miles south of our little town to a small rural park with trees of all different shapes and sizes spotted around wherever you look and a small stream running all the way through.
"Why have you brought me here? And what is this place?" Matty asked, walking a few steps ahead to get a better look around.
"This has been my thinking space for the past 27 years, not even Harry knows I come here but I wanted to share it with you because I think you sometimes need thinking space Matty" I said, continuing when he gave me a 'can you explain that a bit more please' look "oh come on Matty you can't hide stuff from me, I can tell there'd something going on cos you're not a bad kid but somehow you're always in trouble and well it's clear you aren't going to tell me what's going on so I just thought you could come here sometimes to think about stuff and calm down instead"
Matty just nodded, jumping up to sit on a tree branch, looking out into the distance "it's just hard being a teenager you know" he said eventually.
I jumped up next to him, allowing his head to rest in my shoulder "yeh it is, and it must be worse for you living in our house, it full of nutjobs. And by nutjobs I mean me Niall and Liam, Adam, zayn and Harry are quite chill"

A smirk appeared across Matty's face and he sat up properly which my body wasn't ready for meaning I fell backwards onto the ground causing Matty to errupt into a fit of laughter.

"Oi" I said getting to my feet smiling "you could've at least checked I was alright before pissing yourself with laughter, come on let's go home"

The drive home was quiet but more of a comfortable silence than an awkward one, the scenery passing us by soon became familiar territory once again and I parked my car into our driveway and we made our way inside were Niall was stood, waiting for us, with his arms folded and his face stern.

"You alright Niall?" Matty asked, looking a me with a confused look, which I returned.

"NO IM NOT OK, YOU BELLENDS WENT TO NANDOS WITHOUT ME, DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW SMALL THAT MAKES ME FEEL? DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!!! NO OF COURSE YOU DON'T, YOU TWO JUST GO OUT FOR LUNCH WITHOUT SO MUCH AS THINKING ABOUT ME"

If you asked me how me and Matty managed to keep a straight face through Niall's little meltdown I honestly wouldn't be able to give you an answer but somehow I did. We both gave Niall our most sincere apologies, agreed to get him nandos for tea and then made our way upstairs and collapsed on Matty's bed laughing so much our stomachs hurt.

Once we'd managed to calm ourselves down a little we both just lay there letting time pass us by until Matty eventually rolled onto his side so he was facing me.

"Louis"
"Yeh?"
"I wanna do more music stuff, I wanna learn and develop but I don't know how"

I paused for a minute before I answered him, thinking about how great his voice is and what the best option for him would be. Working with Simon for 8 years had given me a fairly good eye for these sorts of things.

"Okay I think musically you're actually already pretty great, maybe get Niall to give you a few guitar lessons to learn the really complicated stuff and then I'll teach you some more in-depth piano stuff and you'll be basically at the top of your game cos the rest will just come with age. Confidence wise I think it would help you to be in a school show or something, me and Harry are deciding what the next production is gonna be so we can easily get you involved if you want"

Matty nodded "I'll think about it, you can get out of my room now tho" he smiled.

"Ok" I smiled and made my way out of Matty's room and towards to stairs, not quite reaching them before a hand grabbed me and pulled me into their room. Liam.
"Oi what ya doin payno"
"Shhhhhh, I just need you adivce on something ok" he said closing the door as I took a seat on his bed.

"Okay what's up then"

"Well you see the thing is, you know cos you're gay yeh, like you and Harry you're happy together right yeh so erm. I kissed Zayn. A few times. He's also slept in my bed and we....well you know..."

"You fucked Zayn, so what?"

"I think I've fallen for him Louis, I've fallen hard"

"So tell him then" I said, that might not have been the advice Liam was looking for but it was simple and everyone always says honesty is the best policy so he might as well give it a shot right?

"LOUIS I WANT MY NANDOS NOW" Niall yelled from downstairs, his Irish accent getting the stronger the louder his voice was.

"Looks like I've gotta go get the kings meal" I smiled " but seriously payno, just tell Zayn how you feel, it'll be fine, cya soon"

And off I went to get Niall's nandos.
