Manipulation.

The downfall of many great men and women. A tool some utilize mercilessly, though karma tends to always get back at them for it. Yet, humanity never learns, so they keep abusing this.

Never for a second do they think they would only weave themselves a web of manipulation and lies, then get caught in their own trap. Never for a second do they think that there are bigger predators who can snatch them up and their web in the blink of an eye.

All of this information was what South Italy kept in mind as he painted an illusion with his words to his mafia. This was his art, something his brother could never dream of mastering, let alone succeeding him in. He was gifted with a silver tongue, making anyone he spoke to his pawns.

The mafia owned Southern Italy. He owned the mafia. Simple as that.

He twisted his sentences as he spoke to them, twisted them and coloured them. A cleverly constructed speech that had the same meaning as a much blander simple, yet a drastically different effect. He could see it in every member of the mafia's eyes, the words had gotten under their skin and plastered themselves there.

The pen was truly mightier than the sword, be the phrasing cliched or not. For once, those foolish humans were right about something. For with different words, the same person was another. Sly, cocky and deceiving mafia leader Romano Vargas could slide into the persona of easily-flustered, short-tempered South Italy within mere moments.

Life was certainly a chaotic occurrence, but all it takes for the chaos to be in your favor are a few words, and South Italy fully intended on doing that.
