The story will proceed in third POV

It was like any normal day in a village by a mountain. Farmers were harvesting crops and smiles were everywhere.

A 15 year old girl by the name of Shinahora Ayume came out of her house and breathed the fresh air. The sun complimented her facial features. Everyone turned their heads as they heard Ayume's laughter. It's at a time like this that you mistaken which one is the actual sun.

"Good afternoon!" Ayume greeted cheerfully with a sweet smile and everyone smile as well.

"G-good afternoon...Ayume..." A boy, same as age as her, greeted back. The boy's name was Nagasaki Shinosuke. He was a shy boy that is friends with Ayume because of their parents. He has a crush on her. Who doesn't?

The Nagasakis and Shinahoras have been neighbours for a while. They rarely have girls in their family tree so it was surprising to see Ayume being a girl.

"How are your parents?" he asked.

"They're resting right now. But they're getting better." Ayume replied with certainty. Ayume's parents have been sick for a few months already. It's a miracle for them to be in a recovering state.

"That's good...umm...My mother is making chicken noodles...you can...have-" Shinosuke was interupted by his mother.

"Oh! Ayume-chan! Good afternoon!" Nagasaki Sora came out of the house with surprise. Ayume smiled at her.

"Good afternoon, Nagasaki-san." Ayume greeted back with a slight bow.

"I made chicken noodles. Please join us. I made a lot today." Sora offered and noticed her son. She then smacked his head.

"What were you doing out here?! Why haven't you offer her inside yet?!" Sora scolded. Shinosuke felt embarrassed. Ayume lets out a laugh.

"It's alright." Her words calmed Sora down. Shinosuke blushed at her voice.

"Please come in!" Sora offered.

"Thank you so much." Ayume thanked with sincerity and followed them inside the house.

They started eating the noodles lively. Sora prepared two bowls on a tray for Ayume's parents.

"You can give this to your parents. I'm sure they would feel a lot better." Sora offered. Ayume saw the bowls.

"Oh...thank you. But do you have enough for-"

"Don't worry about it, Ayume-chan. We have plenty to go around." Sora said kindly as she knew what Ayume was going to say. Ayume kept silent and smiled.

"Thank you." Ayume thanked and finished her bowl. She helped to clean up and help out with some housekeeping before going back to her house.

"Mother. Father. Nagasaki-san made some noodles. You both should eat it while its warm." Ayume came in to her parent's room and fed them.

"How nice of them. Did you help, Ayume?" Shinahora Chikari asked out of curiosity as she ate the noodles. Ayume pouted but she managed to let out a small smile.

"No...I didn't know about it..." Ayume said with a sad smile. She felt slightly guilty because she wanted to repay them.

"I will definitely repay them back though!" Ayume said with sparks in her eyes.

"Maybe we can go for a short walk? I haven't seen the sun in days." Shinahora Ayato said as he finished his bowl.

"That sounds like a great idea..." Chikari said with a smile. Ayume's face lit up with excitement but it faded a little.
