"Camila please come to the party tonight?" Dinah begged the girl who was tucked into her over sized hoodie, glasses perched on the end of her nose.

"Um..." Camila mumbled looking up at her best friend, "Fine." She said pushing her glasses up her nose, while Dinah was cheering about how she would be round to 'fix her up' at 6pm. The doors to the school slammed open and in strolled Martha, Katie and Jackson, the most popular kids in school. They were all cheerleaders and basically ruled the school underneath...

"Hey Mila, your girlfriend is here." Dinah teased the blushing girl beside her. Camila ignored her best friend and looked at the door where Jackson had held it open for their 'leader' to enter. Lauren Jauregui. Goddess. Green eyed princess. The love of Camila's life. The girl who hates Camila's existence. The 4 popular kids stormed through the hallway, stopping at everyone's individual lockers. Lauren stood against a locker opposite Camila's while Martha collected her math book. Camila was trying everything in her power to not look in their direction.

"Hey Mila, I have to shoot and speak to Mr Alexander before class, see you at lunch." Dinah called out and hugged Camila before hugging Lauren too. Camila sighed, due to Dinah being cheerleader to, well basically Lauren's co-captain, Dinah was super popular to. A locker slammed behind her making her flinch and turn her head to see what it was turned out to be a huge mistake when she made eye contact with Lauren, who simply raised her eyebrow. Camila immediately everted her eyes and looked back into her locker. She grabbed her bag and pulled it over her shoulder, however a force pulled it from her arms before she could get a grip on it. Camila sighed and closed her eyes. She turned slowly and saw that 3 people had cornered her against her locker. She tried to close her locker when it was suddenly slammed closed nearly trapping her hand. Martha kept her hand on the locker beside her.

"I am so sorry Camila." Jackson said, almost sincerely making Camila look up in surprise. "I am so sorry for your parents, to have you as a child." Camila deflated at this. Jackson started laughing at the girl, most of the hallway has dispersed now but there was still a small crowd. Camila felt the tears well up, she hated when they mentioned her parents. She looked to the side where Katie was digging in her bag and she panicked when she pulled a black journal out.

"No!" Camila called out and went to reach for it only to be pushed roughly back into the locker taking the wind from her body.

"Hey Lauren, check this out while I teach her some manors." Katie said chucking the black book at Lauren who hadn't moved from her position against the locker, a conflicted look in her eye. She caught the book with ease and made eye contact with Camila, who looked to be pleading with her not to look inside. Lauren pulled the string from the front and opened to a random page, Camila's scribbled ramblings about how annoying Dinah was looked back at Lauren. Flicking to another page dated with today's date, Lauren stopped dead in her tracks while reading the entry.

Dear Diary/ Journal

It's been exactly 2 years since they died. 2 years. I still can't get over it. My own parents died. I managed to avoid talking about it to anyone, even Dinah and Ally don't know. I really hope no one mentions they today. It's been 2 years and I have yet to grieve. 2 months and I can leave this stupid group home. I want to go to New York, but I have no idea how I am going to afford that. 2 years wow. This entry is a mess. Bye.

Lauren looked up and made eye contact with Camila who hung her head avoiding everyone, Katie was about to grab her when Lauren's voice sounded through the hallway. "Katie, enough. I really can't be bothered to listen to Anderson moan when we're late." She said and snatched Camila's bag from Jackson. She shoved her diary and math book inside and placed it beside a trembling girl. "Let's go," Lauren said and started walking off, the rest of her group stayed still making Lauren stop and raise an eyebrow. "Now." And with that the other 3 collected their bags and closed their lockers and charged after Lauren to fall back in order. Just as they turned the corner Lauren looked back at Camila who was left crying into her jumper, her heart aching to comfort her.
