"Relax, I promise you will enjoy yourself," Lauren said wrapping her arm around her best friend who was sat lightly shaking in the back of the limo. "This is your day! The big 25" Lauren gushed and kissed her check, thrusting another drink in her hand. "Bottoms up." She encouraged and Vero followed.
"Mrs Jauregui, we're here." Gerald, the driver, said and opened the door for the Jauregui's to get out. Lauren first then reaching back in to grab Camila's hand pulling her out and close. Dinah was out next standing beside Normani who was meeting them there. Ally and Conner were already inside waiting in their booth. Vero took a deep breath before moving slightly across the seat before Camila was sitting back down next to her.
"Hey, you okay?" Camila asked and rubbed a hand down Vero's arm. Nodding lightly at Camila making the Latina smile. "If you don't want to do this, it's fine. We can go find some swanky high-end restaurant and use her credit card to pay for it." Camila laughed pointing to her wife, who playfully glared at them. Lauren bent down to look in the limo at her best friend and wife. Her reassuring eyes comforted Vero who nodded and took Camila's outstretched hand. She barred her shoulders and put a brave face on.
"I got you," a soothing voice called beside. Lauren had been her best friend for 22 years now and she always knew when she wasn't comfortable and she would always keep her safe, this wouldn't change. Camila had been in their lives for over 15 years and the 3 had always been close so she knew there isn't anywhere else she'd want to be. Nodding she took a step forward to the bouncer who nodded and allowed them through. They spotted Ally and Conner already in the 'JAUREGUI' booth. Lauren had always wanted to be a nightclub owner and after her grandmother's inheritance came in at the age of 18, she managed to buy a small chain of run-down nightclubs. 5 in total. She spent 4 years doing them up bit by bit and building them into Florida's biggest nightclub chain. 5 years later at the age of 27, Lauren was one of the most successful women in Florida. She owned 11 nightclubs throughout the state and some in LA and Washington. Camila was also a successful solo singer who had 4 best selling albums out and was on the way to starring in a film about Cinderella, her dream.
Rushing in to greet them was Dinah, she was a successful fashion designer with her own brand, she designed all their dresses tonight and basically of their wardrobes. The trio had met Dinah 7 years ago when she was 18 and looking for a job, Lauren had hired her to help with the clubs renovation and Dinah's huge family all got involved and the clubs were up in no time. Normani was next to embrace Ally and Conner, Normani basically modelled for anyone or anything, she mainly models for Dinah's line however, she was available for anything. Normani married Dinah 2 years ago and one then weas really introduced to the group. She worked a lot with Ally. Ally pulled Lauren into a hue hug and shoved her to Conner and took Camila into a cuddle too. Ally was a high school principle, and she couldn't love her job more. Conner pulled Vero into a huh, holding her close.
"How are you cousin?" he whispered into her hair.
"I'm okay Conner." She reassured. Conner and she worked together. They were both high end lawyers, however, she was prosecution, and he was defence. They were both respected individuals. The group met Ally when Conners little girl had been lost and ran into the high school to find help and look for his papa, but she found Ally instead. The two hit it off immediately and they've been together for 12 years, married for 7. Once all 'hellos' were complete they all took a seat as a knock sounded loudly on the door over the thumping music coming from the main club. Lauren jumped up to open the door and saw their 3 other friends that were joining them. Raven, Katie and Lawrence, they were more Dinah's friend then anyone else's but they were okay. They immediately shot down to the dance floor and intermingled in the huddle of people.
"Drinks ladies? And Conner of course." A voice called making the group jump. Vero's jaw was on the ground at the sheer beauty of the woman.
"Yeah Lucy, You on boss duty?" Lauren laughed and took a seat beside Camila who cuddled in instantly.
