The dance studio was currently filled with 7 familiar faces, practicing painfully hard to the point the reflective glass surrounding the room has fogged, the white concrete floor polluted from the shoe marks and scratches, the room smelling like wet dogs and sweat and the constant ragged breathing clearly audible under the strong banging of the sound system.

At this point they've gotten used to the exhaustion and the dull ache that accustomed their limbs and every other part of their body but what they never got used to was how hard they prepared for every comeback, each one seeming a ton harder than the previous. So when Sungdeuk finally told them to cool off and relax, they were more than thrilled to take their things, dash out the building and head back to their dorm to sleep through the day.

Well, all except two.

Jungkook and Jimin had always been the members known to beat themselves up during comeback preparations so when Jimin announced that he'd be staying behind in the studio and jungkook adding a breathy 'me too' in the corner, it wasn't really a surprise to anyone.

Unlike Jimin, Jungkook's reason for staying behind was to look out for his hyung. Ever since jimin had gone with his rather harmful diet he has been extremely cautious and watchful, even went as far as following after him and eating only one meal in almost ten days to show jimin how dangerous it was. How painful it is to watch someone you care for do that to themselves.

Jimin was a minute into the choreography when Jungkook decided to join in, avoiding being questioned as to why he stayed if he was just going to lay on the floor watching Jimin. The exhaustion ridding his body as soon as the older flashed him a smile through the mirror, his eyes disappearing into crescents. Jungkook couldn't lie, perhaps his heart skipped a beat. He was thankful his hoodie was hiding most of his face if it wasn't he would've looked like gochujang was smeared across it.

It went on like that for another 3 hours with Jungkook nagging Jimin into taking a break every once in a while. Each time Jimin whined lowly, not wanting to get scolded by an overgrown baby bunny.

"Hyung, c'mon just take a break you haven't eaten."

"No kook-ah i need to keep practicing."

"What will more practice do you, hyung? We practice non-stop for months, skipping out on a day wont make your moves any less sharper. Plus, Sungdeuk-hyung gave us 3 days off."

"Kook-ah, you don't understand. I..im not as good as i used to be, my body has weakened and i can barely keep up. I need to keep going so please ju-"

"And who's fault is it hyung? Who decided to go on a ten day starving spree? You ignored everyone, you ignored me, hyungie. I was glued to your side and all you did was push me away-"

"Stop jungkook you know well enough to stop yourself from talking when you've done the same thing-"

"No! Listen hyung, i did that for you. I was showing you how stupid it is to starve yourself and exert so much energy in practicing when you haven't had a proper meal in days and barely have any!"

To say Jimin was startled by the sudden outrage from the younger was an understatement. He was rather sensitive about the topic and everyone knew that, but so was Jungkook. It was evident to everyone else that Jungkook cared more for Jimin. He likes to tease him, oh he does but he also showed the most concern for him.

"And why would you do that, kook? If it was that stupid to you why did you do it? Don't tell me you had it under control because you were stuck to that IV tube for almost three days!"

Jimin felt a pang of guilt inside his chest and wasn't ashamed to show it. Jungkook wasn't exactly thinking straight when he impulsively followed jimin's diet and obviously that didn't exactly go well. If Jimin had almost fainted around 3 times, Jungkook actually lost consciousness. Jimin felt responsible for influencing the younger like that.

"I was proving a point, hyung...a-and i did! You wouldn't have stopped if i didn't make you, admit it!" He took a long pause to sigh, trying to calm his rage.

"What point did you prove Jungkook? That your body was less capable of starvation or that your willing to risk your own life for anyone."

"You aren't just anyone. Why does it matter now anyway? You never listen to me, Jimin-hyung. You dont even care about me, all you do is push me away whenever i try to get close."

He hit a nerve. A nerve in which consisted of Jimin's feelings.

Jungkook's words rang in the air, both a little taken aback, the pouring rain tapping on the windowpane to their side only adding to the gloom. Jimin couldn't help but feel what remained of his dignity scurry away by how jungkook spoke about his feelings not even knowing a single thing of what his heart yearns for, his stance lowering a bit but never backing down. He was offended

"Do whatever you want, Jungkook. I don't care, i wont."

Jimin muttered softly but sternly as if he was convincing himself instead of the other. Letting the other know that he was done but he was also exasperated.

Jimin took a hesitant look at Jungkook, his eyes clueless and angry while Jimin's were eager, eager for him to listen, to hear his heart breaking. Jungkook stood there frozen while Jimin had packed up his things, slinging his gym bag over his shoulder, the younger watching his movements. It was only when jimin muttered a 'dont talk to me' and stalked out of the building that he'd realised he'd wronged.

Hii how'd I the first chapter go?
You liked it, i hope??

Okay so for the facts:

Yess Chim starved himself and ate only ONE meal in 10 days. He said it himself in an interview. POOR BABY HUHU.

Yes its also true our precious Guk tried to stop Jimin and yes he did so by copying him and did the same diet, if you can even call it that. Jinnie said this in an interview with a magazine (i think). This made Jimin stop of course.

Don't worry neither of them fainted.
