He knew, of course jungkook knew. He just wasn't a hundred percent sure, he can't risk everything unless he was sure.
When Jimin got down to the entrance of the building is when he noticed that the raining hasn't gone down but only poured harder than it did just minutes ago. 'What a great day' he thought. With a long distressed sigh he decided to walk home... in the rain. He figured it'll calm him down and would get a chance to think.
Jimin and Jungkook rarely get into fights. Jungkook would often scold the older and they'd bicker nonstop but they never actually fought. How was he supposed to explain to the members why he walked twenty minutes in the rain and why he isn't back with jungkook, their maknae. Just another addition to his 'how to have a great day' list.
On the other hand Jungkook had dashed out the building hoping to find Jimin before he disappeared in a corner after he stood in place for what seemed like an eternity in the studio. He figured jimin wouldn't head home and would find some place else to go to so he discarded the thought of walking the road their dorm led to.
Soon enough Jungkook was completely lost in the rain, surrounding getting foggy, he had no idea where he was nor did he know how to get back to the studio. Curse his sense of direction or rather the lack there of. It has been almost fifteen minutes but Jimin was nowhere in sight. Well, to Jungkook at least. So he pulled out his phone from his back pocket, the only thing he remembered to grab in the heat of the moment, and dialled Jimin's number.
Said boy was only another block away from their dorm when his phone started vibrating in his bag. Of course Jimin checked the caller ID, so why did he answer Jungkook's call? Because he was hoping. He was hoping that Jungkook would finally understand him, why he always pushed him away, why he'd stayed in the hospital when jungkook was unconscious and never left his side but absolutely ignored him back in the dorm.
Hoping that jungkook would return his feelings.
'I don't care, I won't.'
He knows it's a lie, he won't ever stop caring for his kookie, he's just too caught up in his thoughts and how his feelings were crushed just like that, in his guilt, in jungkook's words.
"H-hyung."
Jungkook's voice came out rather shakey as if he was sobbing and the constant pattering of raindrops in the background similar to his only proved that he was outside, in the rain, crying.
Jimin stayed silent. Of course he was worried, his eyebrows caught in a knot but he wasn't about to let up just because his Kookie was crying god knows where and probably in danger. Jimin's pride was too hurt. No, his heart was too shattered.
"Hyung, im so s-sorry. I've been wrong, i know that. I want to talk about it please. J-just-"
"I said dont talk to me, that also meant dont call me."
It wasn't silent on the other end, but there was no reply only jungkook's chocked up sobs. So, Jimin continued.
"Where are you?"
"I dont kn-know."
Jungkook was stumbling in his own words, crying and scared. That's all it took for everything Jimin felt to wash away and to be replaced by worry and more guilt.
"Tell me where you are I'll come get you."
"N-no it's fine. I'll take a taxi home."
Jimin hang up and hurried home into the dorm. When he walked in he left trails of water across the floor causing jin to start rambling about cleanliness and how he has to do everything in this household. Tae peeked out of a corner and stared at jimin unfazed until it clicked that jungkook wasn't with him.
