*Later after school

*Richies POV
I never would've thought I would have a crush on Eddie. I understand why, he's perfect.

He helps me, his freckles perfectly placed on his face. His smile bright even when he's sad, he keeps me going. Helping me along the way but keeping distance. He's beautiful, one of the most beautiful boys I've seen.

"Richie, I'm going to my locker." He smiles, my face burns a bright burgundy color. It's never done that, only once or twice. "O-ok." My stomach drops.

I have a crush on you. I like you a lot.

Smiling once again he walks away from where I stand. My backpack on my back.  A short few minutes later he comes back. A bright grin on his face. "Come on." Wrapping his arm with mine, we walk out of the school.

Beverly and Stanley both wait for us. "The rest of them had stuff to do, we wanted to know if you wanted to go to the mall or something?" "Sure." My arm directs Stanley's attention silently. Putting my hand in my pocket I look at the two in front of us.

A look that says "I don't know what to do right now. Help me please."

They both shrug as Eddie talks about something that happened. "Are we going back to my place first?" "Sure I wanna get my hoodie out of your room anyways." "Bill left a book in the classroom earlier so I have to go to my house anyways."

No ones POV
Finally the group of four split up. "Chee? Do you still want a milkshake?" Eddie let go of his arm earlier. "Of course I do. Is that even a question?!" He jokes pulling Eddie closer to him. His arms around Eddies shoulders. Eddies gotten used to Richie "flirting" so he knows which one is playful and serious flirting.

Finally the two open the front door. Eddie goes upstairs and Richie sits on the couch. "Why now?" Both hands cover his face. Taking his new glasses off. "What do you mean 'why now' ?" Using air quotations as he walks over to the taller boy.

"Oh nothing, just tired." "I know that has to be a lie. Richie I know you." "Well, I-I like someone. Never noticed that I did until just today."

I hope it's me. Eddies thoughts go everywhere

It's you. The taller boys thoughts also do the same.

"Oh okay, I didn't know why you were acting that way earlier." He chuckles, leading the dark haired boy to the door.

*Time Skip*
The four friends met up earlier and shopped for a while. Richie picked a new outfit out that isn't black. Stanley finding something for bill, Beverly getting new sunglasses and hair clips.

Leaving the mall Eddies legs got tired so Richie put him on his back. "You know having long legs helps me walk faster than small beans like you." "Oh wow, you're offending me now." He sarcastically smacks Richies head.

The smaller ones head sits on the tallest ones shoulder. His breath tickles his ear, making him shiver a bit. Whispering made Richies heart flutter.
