The tears
I try to keep inside
endlessly fall tonight
as you say you'll never leave
as you say you'll never say goodbye
The sorrow in my heart
finds a way out of the cage
To set itself free,
only to return again
after one glorious night
The feelings I bury
in the depths of my soul
linger and scream whenever
you're around
It's like they yearn for you,
wait for you,
just like how I might
The love has never left,
maybe it is meant to stay
Just like how you might
But the world wouldn't
allow that anyway
