~Chapter 21: A Not So Happy Reunion~

Vincent's POV:

Why are they here?!

"Vincent! Its been so long," Finn approached me.

I backed up, "Dont act so nice, you know what you did you freak."

"Dont be like that Vincent, I've just come to say hello," Finn stood infront of me.

I stared at him, unsure of his actions. He moved his face close to mine, are noses touched. What is he trying to do?

"Vincent..?" I could hear the hurt in Clay's voice.

I pushed Finn away, making him stumble, "Clay it's not what it looks like I promise."

"Sure it's not, why didn't you ever tell me you were already with someone?" A tear ran down his cheek.

"Clay hes not my-" I tried to explain.

"No, it's fine Vince. I'll just go," Clay pushed past the others who were still standing at the door.

I looked at the ground. A hand touched my cheek, pulling my head back up. It was Finn. This is his fault. I pushed him back again harder. "I thought I told you to stay away from me!"

"Come on, I'm not that bad," Finn said.

"Yes you are," I glared at him.

"M-Maybe this was a bad idea.." I heard Zak say.

"Yes, it was. Now get them out of here," I said.

"Vincent please, can't we talk?" Finn said.

"No, you hurt me. I will never forgive you," I told him, "Take you and your weird powers somewhere else."

"Hmph, I'll be back though," Finn said, "Let's go Mega, Zak."

Mega followed Finn. Zak was hesitant, but he walked out after Mega. Whys Zak going too? I felt a little betrayed.

"Um..what was all that about?" Darryl said.

"Finn..hes my ex," I said.

"Oh, I see."

"Why'd Zak leave with them?" I asked.

"Hes just doing it to learn more about his power."

"Okay..wait, hes like them?" He cant be.

"Yeah? I thought you knew," Darryl said.

"No, hes never said anything about powers," I said, annoyed.

"I'm just gonna leave.." Darryl awkwardly turned and left the house.

Zaks POV:

I didnt want to, but I walked out after Mega. I sighed, looking at the ground as I walked. Mega patted my shoulder. I lifted my head to look at him. He smiled sadly at me. He looked back, the smile gone again from his face.

We were back at Finns house now.
"Mega, you help him, I'll be inside," Finn said.

"Okay," Mega nodded, "So, what can you do so far?"

I closed my eyes and focused. I knew where animals were around me. I put my hand on the ground and something crawled onto it.

Opening my eyes I saw it was a squirrel. I grabbed an acorn next to me and held it out to the small creature. It grabbed the nut out of my hand and shoved it in its mouth. It then jumped off, running back up a nearby tree.
