The wood of the evergreen creaked in the gentle wind. The pine now orange and dead fell onto the just frosting ground. Wet fallen leaves crunched underfoot. The breeze was subtle and has a brush of chill. My breath came out in white streams. I was in my happy place. A place of escape where only I could roam. I looked up past the pine that broke the streams of sunlight. I'm never cold in this weather. I spread my arms like wings my palms upward to catch the flitting snowflakes that past through the seams of the trees. Closing my eyes I let myself feel everything around me. I shifted my weight and soon I'm slowly turning like a ballerina in a music box. The soft fleeting noise of the piano and the gentle pick of the acoustic entering my ears sending calm vibrations through my chest. The vibe was powerful and only sent me deeper into the place I loved most.
I took a delicate breath of the cold soothing air and let out a low croaky hum. As I slowly turned I let my head rest normally. My gaze seeing past the spaces of the forest. Streams of light hitting the ground ranging from size like small spot lights. I took a slow step the ground now filled with puddles and the pine was filled with weeping willows. I let out a sigh the chill now leaving my body. I groan in annoyance looking into the puddles of water. My Steel blue eyes glowing in my reflection. I glared at
It swiping the small body of water with my bare foot."You don't like your reflection do you?" A gravel voice rang behind me.
I spin around a small gasp escaping me as I see that I'm out of my little world. Standing in front of me is man wearing a black suit. He had a pale complexion and thin glasses rested on the bridge of his nose. I furrowed my eyebrows as I turned around to see a shattered mirror. Where was I? I was in a bathroom it had white walls and black stalls and checkered floors. The man stepped forward, taking my hands and turning them over. "You have damaged your knuckles." He sighed adjusting his glasses as a woman wearing white hospital scrubs handed him two rolls of gauze. He picked out the pieces I let out a sharp hiss as he rolled the gauze tight over my hands. "Where am I?" I croaked. I felt like I hadn't spoke in years. The man looked up from wrapping my hands.
"You are in Violet Hospital for the medically insane, you were under a psychological evaluation, your parents are in the waiting room, waiting on your results." The man spoke nonchalantly.
"What are the results?" I asked curiously. Looking up from the soaking bandages. "You will visit every Wednesday, with me your new psychologist." He smiled at me but it quickly faded as I was led out of the bathroom into another hallway with checked floors and white walls. I watched as a man screamed and threw a fit as two male nurses tried to wrestle the man into a room. "No room!" The man screamed tears streaming pitifully down his face.
I looked at the nurse she seemed very tired and had a stress riddled face as she fearfully passed the fitting man. "He'll be fine?" I more of asked myself since I noticed the nurse wasn't paying any attention to me more on the destination I was going. I assumed it was to my parents. We took some more turns and soon enough we went through two double swing doors and the atmosphere of the room changed. The wall papers were a lavender and the wood around the front desk was painted black. Sitting in two chairs were a woman and a man. The woman had blonde hair and one grey stripe in her hair. An unsettling look in her eyes made me shiver. The man had deep brown eyes from the woman's steel blue eyes. He also had a crazy pitch black hair. He wore a nice suit as well while the woman wore a business attire. A pink scarf loosely hung around her neck.
The two stood up as I neared them. "How did she do?" The man asked. "Mr, Mackentire." The same man in the black suit and glasses walked towards him. The two shook hands firmly.
"May I see you two in private while Sixx waits here." He man smiled at me as he led my parents into an office. I looked down at the chairs and sighed lowly. I took a seat and looked around the room. Their was a mud room, and a few passive patients walking around followed by nurses or psychologists. I rubbed my eyes. My name is Sixx, and well, I guess I'm your average seventeen year old girl, I go to Briar Hill High school and plan on majoring in college as a doctor.
