It was finally Christmas eve. I spent the day running last minute errands and baking cookies with our 5 year old son, Charlie.
Percy was out with his cousins all day celebrating with them. I didn't mind as long as we spent Christmas together.

"Goodnight Charlie make sure to go to sleep so Santa can come tonight!" I told him.
"Ok! goodnight mommy I love you."
"I love you too baby." I kissed his cheek before turning off his bedroom light.
It was only 8:30 pm and Percy wouldn't be home until later. I settled with reading a book while watching some tv.
Around 3 hours later the front door opened revealing Percy in a Santa costume.
"Why are you dressed like that?" I asked him, trying not to laugh too hard.
"I was forced to be the santa for the children at the party."
I put my book down and stood up.
"I cannot take you seriously when you're dressed like that."
I was still trying to hold back my laughter. It was extremely hard to look at him and not laugh.
"Oh really?" He said walking over to me.
"Yes really."
He leaned in and kissed me.
"MOMMY IS KISSING SANTA CLAUS! DADDY!"
We broke apart and saw Charlie running down the hall to our bedroom.
"Shit" was all I heard before Percy took off the costume and ran after him.
