"Alright, so where do you want to go?" Peter asked nervously, shoving his hands in his pockets as we walked out down the hot pavement sidewalk that was lined with quirky shops and mischievous looking stores.

"Well, there is this really cute little coffee place up the street a bit, they serve the best pastries and sandwiches, why don't we stop there for a bite?" I asked nervously, my eyes looking intently at the sidewalk.

"That sounds great actually." Peter answered warmly and looked at the ground, "I don't see it." He said bluntly

"W-what do you mean?" I laughed, and looked at him with a smile, he was still focused on the ground with a curious look on his face and a furrowed brow.

"What you were looking at that was on the ground." He answered sweetly, and I felt my cheeks become warm with embarrassment

"No," I laughed "I was just nervous, there isn't anything on the ground." I smiled brightly and he looked up at me with a sweet side-smile "I was just nervous."

"I make you nervous?" Peter asked cutely, and I blushed again.

"Well, kind of." I shrugged, trying to shake off the pink that was on my cheeks.

Peter sweetly chuckled, "I hope this doesn't effect our date." and put his arm around my shoulder. I shivered at his touch and tried to avoid his eyes, but couldn't help feeling his eyes resting on my face.

I blushed and moved closer to him "No, I think I'm good now." I laughed, and smiled as we entered the coffee shop, our noses greeted by the sweet smell of coffee. My shoes clicked on the mahogany wooden floors, and my eyes wandered pleasantly to the warm green walls that were covered in black and white pictures of flowers and plants.

"Welcome to Café Perryamolas!" A happy waitress greeted us from the counter, we both smiled and waved at her before sitting down in two metal chairs and scooting into a small wooden table.

"So what do you want to get?" I asked Peter, who was looking intently at the menu that was hanging over a glass bar, filled with delicious looking sweets.

"I think I might just get some coffee." He shrugged and fiddled with his hands.

"Really? That is so dull! Get something exotic like a..." I looked up at the menu and scanned it, looking for something more interesting than coffee "Why don't you get the triple choco espresso? That sounds really great!"

Peter laughed again, and smiled down at the table "That does sound good actually..." he chuckled, and I looked at him with a sweet smile.

"It's totally awesome, but I'm going to get a peppermint mocha. It's my favorite." I smiled, and stole a glance at Peter's beautiful brown eyes. They were warm and full of happiness, though sadness left traces in the darker parts of his eyes.

"Can I take your order?" The waitress asked, and I quickly looked from Peter to her. She was very short; about as tall as us when we were sitting.

"Yeah, uh we're going to have a medium triple choco espresso and a medium peppermint mocha." Peter said to the pretty waitress with a smile, and she nodded at him and walked away with twinkling eyes.

"That waitress was totally checking you out!" I said playfully and hit Peter lightly in the arm, he chuckled and shook his head. "Oh come on Peter, She totally thinks you're hot."

"Nah," he chuckled again and looked down at the table, I could tell that his cheeks were turning pink. "I'm on a date with you, remember?" He asked, and stroked the back of my hand with his thumb. My face turned a deep shade of scarlet like a little schoolgirls."You're blushing!" Peter said, and tried to look at my face
