TW - HOMOPHOBIC SLURS AND SWEARING

Richie groaned, looking left to the clock.
6:45am
He slammed the thing off, careful not to move from his cozy position against the wall with the smaller boy. Eddie was in a fetal-like position on Richie's chest, with a bleach white comforter covering the two.
"Mm" Eddie shifted slightly in Richie's arms. He looks exhausted, I'll let him sleep longer, it has been a tough week after all.
Richie pulled a small book out of his bag, which was just below his waist to the right. He read for a couple hours, before turning to the clock to see 10:12am. Oh no, Sonia's going to be up, and she's going to see us, and she's going to get pissed. Richie tapped Eddie's shoulders, and when the small boy didn't wake up, he moved to the shaking.
"Ah," Eddie opened his eyes quickly, looking at Richie. "What the hell are you doing?!" He noticed the bright sky, "What time is it?!"
"10:13..." It was almost as if marbles would fall out of Eddie's eye sockets. He began shoving Richie's stuff into the small bag, completely unorganized.
"My mom will be up any minute! If she sees you, I'm dead. YOU'RE DEAD!" Richie looked at the small boy frantically cleaning everything with a loving smile. "WHY ARE YOU SMILING?! GET CLEANING AND GET OUT THE WINDOW!"
"Ok, ok. But I need to give her the vibra-" Richie began, but was cut off by the thumping of Sonia's waking footsteps.
Both of the boys looked at each other in fear. "It's too late! Get under the bed, take your things," Eddie scream-whispered. Richie obliged, crawling on the light, carpeted floor, under the plush bed frame.
"Eddiebear! Are you awake?" Sonia stormed into the bedroom, with an upset face. "Where were you last night? I didn't see you come home."
"I-I was out with B-Ben, he was sh-showing me some h-history stuff," Eddie lied, knowing Ben was one of his most acceptable friends in Sonia's eyes. "Sorry mommy."
"You made me very upset." Sonia looked around, "What have you been doing up here?"
Eddie searched for an alibi, landing on a small book, left on his messy bed. "R-reading, it's for school. They wanted us to finish it for class next week."
Richie thought about the subject, school. It had only been a few weeks since his run-in with Conner and the Bowers gang in the arcade. I'm so fucked. Richie thought, knowing they'd give him hell for it. What if they tell my-
"Ok, did you take your pills sweetie bear?" Sonia remarked with the most smug, evil look on her bright white skin.
"Yes, I took my..." bullshit. Those pills are fucking bullshit, just say it again! "...pills" Eddie's small face scrunched in disgust when Sonia spoke again.
"Good, I have a new prescription ready for you." Sonia noticed Eddie's face. "What is it sweetie? Headache? Backache? I'll go get you more pills!"
"NO!" Eddie yelled, Sonia had been taken aback by the sudden shout.
"No? Eddiebear, you're sick, remember?" She grabbed the small boy's face with her clammy hands, making his lips into fish-like ones. "And don't you EVER yell at me, honey."
Richie held himself back. Nobody touches him like that. Though he couldn't see much other than legs, he could tell by Eddie's obvious discomfort that she was grabbing his face too hard. Shortly after, he watched the large lady's big slippered feet stomp out the door, leaving with a slam.
"Richie." Eddie whimpered.
The tall boy slithered out from under the bed, "I'm here Mr. Spaghet."
"Shut up, I'm serious right now." Richie put his hands in the air. "I don't know why I can't stand up to her anymore. It's like she takes this massive power over me..."
"I know, Eds. I see the way you cower under her pressure. As for me, her pressure is good, especially in bed." Richie got a nice slap across the face with that comment. "Eddiebear! That was mean. Apologize to me now." He impersonated Sonia, but realized he crossed a line. "I'm sorry Eds." He wrapped his arms over the small boy, who was entirely speechless with the apology.
"Could I stay at your house tonight?" Eddie looked back at the tall boy.
"Of course, Mister Spaghetti." Richie chuckled. "I'll meet you outside." The tall boy removed his arms from the small boy and climbed out his window.
~over to Stanley~
Hh, Bill likes Bev, doesn't he? I waited for him, and he kissed her. I shouldn't be having these thoughts, I need to practice. Practice makes perfect. I need to be the perfect Jewish boy.
Stanley ran over to the center of his temple, and opened his Torah. The curly haired boy began reading, when he saw Ben, Bill, Beverly, and Mike ride past on their gross, dirty bikes. He slammed the book shut and ran outside yelling "WAIT!" Stanley already spent enough of the summer inside or in the sewer drains. He had to have some fun after all.
The group stopped, watching Stan hop on his bike and ride off with them. He would look at Bill and blush, but kept forcing himself down. You are NOT gay. You are NOT bisexual. You are NOT pan! You are a straight man!
Bill took slight notice of this and said "Stan, d-do you wanna c-come over t-tonight? I've been m-m-missing our hangouts w-with all of this crazy c-clown shit."
Stanley nodded, and smiled. A few butterflies in his stomach let loose, and he almost fell right off of the kissing bridge, where they noticed Richie standing, looking at a specific carving of 'R+E'.
"Hey Rich. Who's that one about? Elena? Ellie? Elizabeth?" Beverly cut Ben off from his listing names, when they all stopped biking.
Eddie. Beverly thought, sending a knowing look his way. "Wanna join us? We're heading to the arcade."
Richie nodded towards Eddie's house. "I'll meet you there, our spaghet is just leaving now." The others headed off towards the air conditioned building of fun.

Everyone was gathered in the arcade, when Connor Bowers walked in. Richie turned, and stood still for a cold second. Connor did the same. They hadn't seen each other since their incident.
Eddie looked at Richie, took his hand, and ran him to a newer game. "Look at this one!! Let's play!!" Eddie looked up at the boy with such excitement.
Connor glared at the smaller one and walked out. Ever since their last experience together, the two had been cold towards one another. Connor had just moved into town, so it's not like everything would just go away.
Richie blinked, turning toward Eddie and his game. "Sure, Eds." He sat down, and grabbed the plastic wheel, but he couldn't stop thinking about what Bowers said.
Get the fuck out of here faggot
Faggot
Richie would never forget that pain.
