Jisung cannot take his eyes off Naih, even though her back is now facing him and she is rushing away.

He took a deep, heavy sigh, pushing his back against the wall.

Not long after, he saw the other boys walking towards him.

"What happened?" Jaemin asked the moment they arrived.

"Some girls said that you and Naih are dating?" Donghyuck asked with a furrowed brow.

"What is happening to you, Jisung?" Chenle added.

"Shut up," Jisung hissed.

"What happened?" Jaemin asked again, now sounding stern.

A sigh escaped from his mouth again, and he bit his lower lip, thinking about what to say.

"Jisung—"

"I just wanted to be free from that unknown girl."

"And Naih?" Chenle asked.

"I just took the chance and used her to get out."

"Do you like her?" Mark suddenly asked.

Jisung scoffed. "Why would you even think that?"

"I clearly saw your eyes on her, Park Jisung. You even held her hands. What are you thinking?"

All eyes are on him, sending him a confused look, but trust me, Jisung is more confused about himself.

"Well, I needed a valid escape! he defends.

"You can just spit real facts at that girl, Jisung." Mark says.

"Do you like her?" Donghyuck asks the question again.

"I don't!"

"We're just making sure."

Jisung became silent as his eyes wandered around, his mind busy thinking about what's wrong.

"I think you really have to let her go."

"I said, no."

"FOR FUCKS SAKE JISUNG, WHY ARE YOU KEEPING HER?" Jaemin frustratedly yelled.

"Just because you wanted her yourself doesn't mean you have to disregard the mission, Jisung-ah. She's still in WayV, and that doesn't erase the fact, even if you like her."

"The fuck—" Jisung frustratedly messed his hair, "For the nth fucking time, I don't like her!"

"You shouldn't" Jaemin sternly says

Jisung closed his eyes while trying to remain as calm as possible.

"This won't do. I'm going back to class." Mark voiced out and walked away.

"I can't do this either." Jeno calmly said, and they walked out one by one.

Except Chenle, who just stood beside the boy, worried eyes on his best friend.

"Hey, let's stroll around for some air." Chenle said, nudging the boy by his elbow.

"What should I do, Chenle-ah?"

"What?"

"I really don't want her to fall out of my grip. She'll die in my hands."
