CHAPTER FIFTY-THREE

Jisung immediately pulled back, stepping out of his car and raging inside the Neo House.

Anger, blood, and death

Jisung flung the door open, only to be greeted by a strong fist, making him stumble back.

Regaining his senses and balance, Jisung gritted his teeth and punched the man square in the jaw.

Heavily breathing out of anger, he bent down, grabbing the man's collar and lifting him up.

"Where is she?"

"Do you ever forget that I'm—"

"LEE FUCKING TAEYONG!"

Taeyong scoffed and pushed the boy away. He fixed his shirt and eyed the boy from head to toe.

His eyes are screaming death, his breaths are releasing his anger, and his fists are clenched, ready to advance.

"I won't ask you again." Jisung sternly said.

Taeyong raised a brow and lazily pointed somewhere.

Jisung trailed where he was pointing and saw a black door far away from him. It looks like the door to the back-end house.

He took two steps forward but was pushed back.

"You think I'll let you go to her? Not a chance, mister."

"And you think you can stop me? Dream on."

Jisung pushed him away and started walking away.

"YOU'RE RIGHT! DREAM ON!"

With his words, a sound of a trigger echoed the room, along with the bullet digging into his skin.

"WHAT THE HELL!" Jisung yelled in pain, his hand now covering the gun wound on his abdomen.

He felt a sticky liquid not long after. He looked at it, grabbed his own gun from his back pocket, and aimed it at the person who suddenly showed

"Chenle?"

His eyes can't even believe it. The sight of his best friend with a gun in his hand, aiming at him.

"Oh, come on, Jisung, they're not traitors like you. Look at you. How can you rage in here alone?" Taeyong voiced out between his laughs.

Jisung didn't take off his eyes at Chenle.

God knows how Chenle is feeling right now. He wants to cry and embrace his best friend, but he can't; his friends will get killed.
