Chapter 7

It's been a week since the incident with Mike and mum hasn't even attempted looking for us, it really shows the love doesnt it? Aphrodiate got excluded for a week after she bashed my head in and Belle has recovered from the beating she got from Mike. Miss Josephine is amazing and is allowing us to stay with her even though we have all this shit going on. I'm looking for a job so I can pay bck Miss Josphine for her help and get a place for me and Belle, but you know what for once life's good.

Walking into school I'm getting the usual glares and comments but you know what who gives a shit. I must be pretty special that they take time out of their day everyday to try and piss me off. Getting the stuff I needed from my locker I closed it to find Ryan standing there. Sending him a brief smile I started walking to my class.

"Hi Jayda"

"Hey"

"How are you?"

"Fine"

"Ok"

What the hell was that? He never goes out his way to talk to me why would he? Ah well nott my problem. Reaching my Maths class I walk in and ttake my usual seat at the back waiting for Mr Lotter to start his usual shit.

BRIIIIIIIING

Bell goes for lunch and everyones scurryin about to get to the cantene. Allowin the stampeed of people rush off I quickly walked out the class room and out the school to sit under the masive willoe tree at the front of the school. Eating my chicken bacon and stuffing sandwhich I watch the cars go by. Sounds borning right? Nah it's kinda calming haha I know wierd. I hear someone dump their bag on the floor and slide down the tree next to me.

"Hey"

Looking over I was suprised to see Ryan's friend Calvin sittin there

"Hi?"

"How come you're under my tree?"

"What do you mean your tree? I've been sittin here for the past 2 weeks"

"I was on holiday"

"Oh sorry I can move if you want me to"

"No it's fine"

"Oh alright" I sent him a quick smile and carried on eating. We sat there in silence for the rest of lunch.

When the bell went signalling the end of lunch I got up sent Calvin a small smile a wave and then walked back inside.

Walking into Miss Joesephine's house I noticed Belle was being really quiet.

"Hey Belle you ok?"

She nodded and walked off to her room, following after her I watched her lay down on the bed and hug "Ben" a teddy bear Miss J gave her. Walking over to her I picked her up and placed her on my lap, hugging her close.

"What's wrong baby girl?"

she snuggled her head into my chest and whispered something that i couldnt hear

"Say that again Belle I couldn't hear"

"Mum and Mike came to see me"

WHAT?!?! Why is she going to the day care after everything she did and why wait till now

"Where did you see them?"

"In the playground they came over and tried to take me but I ran back inside"

She started to sob and I held onto her rocking her gently

"It'll be ok baby girl don't worry they won't hurt you again"

She nodded slightly and I rocked her untill she fell asleep. Laying her back down onto the bed I tucked her in and planted a soft kiss on her forehead. Walking out of the bedroom i called the babysitter Miss Josephine recommended.

"You're speaking to Reese"

"You were recommended for baby sitting?"

"Yup thats me when do you want me there?"

"How quick can you get to oakgrove road?"

"In beckenham?"

"That's the one"

"10 minutes tops"

"Ok be here in 10 minutes number 23"

"Alright I'm on my way now"

I hung up the phone and wrote down a list of contact details for him and put it on the fridge. Quickly changing into a white top black skinny jeans my black and red high tops and my grey punkyfish hoodiie I packed my bag and walked downstairs just as the doorbell rang. Opening the door I was shocked when I saw Ryan's brother Reese standing there.

"23 oakgrove road?"

"Um hey I'm sorry I didn't realise it was you"

"It's fine but this isnt whereI dropped you off last time"

"Yeah things have changed since then, come in"

I stepped aside as he walked in and closed the door

"Alright I should be back in an hour my number and miss Josephine's number's on the fridge Abrira's upstairs sleeping at the moment if she wakes up and stats causing trouble call me and if you do anything to her don't think i won't come after you"

He held his hands up in a surrender motion and stepped back a bit, "I won't alright she'll be safe with me scouts honour"

Nodding I picked up my bag and walked out the house

Ringing the doorbell I waited like the civil person I am. After 5 minutes civil went out the window and so did my patients I'm sure there's a dent in the door where I've been kicking it and the doorbell stopped working not too long ago. The knocker looks like it's ready to fall off the door. I was about to start kicking the door again when it ws flung open by the man that make my life a living hell.

"Hey mike"

A/N: I'm soooooooooooooooooooo sorry I haven't updated there's too many hours in the day. I'm tryin to update every week but it's not going as quick as I want it too. But yeah I hope you like it :D
