Tom, Zendaya, and their friends Harrison and Hunter were all at the gym.

Harrison had expressed interest in visiting the gym and working out with Tom, who worked out regularly.

It was Harrison's first time at the gym and Tom wanted to make it enjoyable for him. So, he invited Zendaya, who invited Hunter, to help motivate and encourage him.

They were all doing their own things and working out with different equipment, when Tom glanced over at Harrison.

Harrison was lazily climbing on the stair climber machine. He looked bored and unenthused and the machine looked like it was on the lowest level.

Tom, who was lifting weights at the time, stopped what he was doing and walked over to Harrison.

"Alright, mate, let's switch things up a bit," he told him.

"Switch things up?" Harrison questioned.
"Yup," Tom said. He called to Zendaya and Hunter. "Z, Hunter, come over here for a minute, would you?"

The girls, who were on yoga balls, slowly made their way over.

"What, dude?" Zendaya asked. "I was in the middle of a really intense workout."
"It must have been a mouth workout, cause that was the only muscle I saw you exercising," Tom said.

Zendaya slapped him on the arm, causing him to whimper slightly.

Zendaya laughed and shook her head.

"Ok, but seriously, what, babe?"

"Harrison over here isn't feelin all that motivated," Tom started "so I was thinking, maybe we try something different."

Harrison's face suddenly perked up. Hunter and Zendaya also looked a bit more enthused.

"So, what about a relay race or like an obstacle course?" Tom asked.
"How about both?" Zendaya proposed.
"Both it is."

Zendaya scooted closer to Hunter, linking their arms together.

"Hunter's on my team!" she squealed.
"I guess that leaves me and Harrison," Tom replied.

"Alright, let's get this course set up."

When the friends had finished setting up, they had a pretty nice looking obstacle course to compete with.

At the start of the course were mats and yoga balls. They had to do ten crunches on the mats using the yoga balls. Next up was the elliptical machine, where they had to pedal for exactly one minute. After they stepped off of the ellipticals, they were to do 20 squats. Following that, they had to climb for 45 seconds on the stairclimber. To finish it off, they had to do six pull-ups on the pull-up bar.

Tom did a simple run through of the course as he explained it to everyone. Once they had all gotten the gist of it, they were ready to start.

It was women against men—Hunter and Zendaya on one team, Harrison and Tom on the other. Harrison and Hunter were up first.

They had to run through the course, then tag in their teammate when they were finished.

Hopefully, this would be a fun experience for everyone, Harrison especially.

They all got into position and the race began.

Harrison started out in the lead for the first two exercises, but Hunter caught up to him during the squats. She eventually surpassed him.
