Many people come and go.
You and them come in seasons.
Lessons learned for many reasons.
In the end when you walk away.
After the scars.
Trying to find a reason for you to stay.
Under the stars.
I have to decide between me and you.
Now I chose you, but in the end.
You write me off.
Look at me now.
In this situation, and I don't know how.
Stuck in this like one huge wow.
Friend, lover, family, ally.
You wrote me off.
It was the end for you, when I chose you over me.
I chose you, when I could've been happy.
You wiped your hands clean, done.
No longer am I the one.
Writing me off and you can't erase it.
I'm not coming back, so you will just have to face it.
You did me a favor, that I couldn't do for myself.
Showing me what I can be when I think about self.
My name on a paper crossed off, your mind made up.
Like a check that's cashed, it's done.
The funny part is you think you won.
The funny part is I'm not finished.
The funny part is I am free.
While you are busy taking others energy, I am busy being me.
So I tell me
So I tell you
Everything is at peace, when they write you off.
