Fancy Clown

I'm woke today.

Because today ain't the day for me.

I'm not in the mood for games.

I'm not in the mood for jokes.

I'm not in the mood for your comments.

I'm just not in the mood.

My Inner Me said "NOT TODAY"

And she is sure of it.

As the world turns.

As the universe goes.

Here comes the fancy clown.

You know them.

Fake on the inside and out.

The face tells you everything they are about.

But here they come, walking right around here.

Trouble and a two step is what my ancestors use to call them.

Everything about them is made to mask the truth of them.

Yes that was wisdom.

Truth for your system.

They say something good in return to look for something else.

They wish you well to only out you under a spell.

But my sage says "Be Gone."

An evil paradise as they come around.

Those fancier than life clowns.

Know how to throw your life in a loop.

But that's not how I get down.

I'll be everything else in life but a fancy clown.
