(Y/n) sat in Lloyd's room at his desk. He was hurriedly pacing the room, picking up various items his shelves drawers. Since he was a second year he had his own room, his room was also larger than the first year ones or at least the ones in the protective dorms.

He didn't say anything to her at all so (Y/n) didn't start conversation either. Lloyd just seemed very stressed that it made her feel almost guilty. She dismissed the thought and deemed it arrogant to assume that he was only ever nervous around her. This was most probably just his nature and it was unfair to discount him becuase of something he couldn't help.

"When's your mentee getting here?" She asked.

Lloyd flinched when she spoke, he stopped in his tracks and stammered for a moment in shock before he responded. "Any minute.. I-I think."

"What's their name?"

He furrowed his brows in thought. "Um, I can't remember." He rubbed the nape of his neck. "Is that, ah, is that bad..?"

(Y/n) shook her head to reassure him and it seemed to work as Lloyd quickly resumed his task and began piling the items onto his desk.

Just as Lloyd had said it wasn't long before his door was opened up and short and sickly looking boy walked through the door. His dark hair contrasted against his bright yellow eyes.

"Hi, Lloyd." The first year said and then looked over to (Y/n). "Who's this?"

Lloyd's blueish-green eyes flicked between his mentee and (Y/n). "Oh, this is, um, (Y/n)... She's a, uh, a first year like you. I'm letting her sit in."

The mentee smiled at her. "I'm Vlod, it's nice to meet you, (Y/n). What strain have you got?"

"I'm-"

"She is protective." Lloyd cut her off. "Obviously, she's wearing blue." There was a certain hostility in his tone that (Y/n) hadn't heard from him before. Lloyd seemed to notice this too as he cleared his throat and hung his head again. "L-let's just get started.." He pointed to one of the additional chairs he's pulled up to his desk. "Sit down."

Vlod obeyed and Lloyd followed him so he was sat between (Y/n) and his mentee.

"So, um, the first thing my mentor taught me last year was.." He picked up his camera, one of the multiple items he'd rooted out. "Building a shrine, it's a-a nice way to honour your future or your, uh, your current lover."

(Y/n) took a sharp inhale, shrines were totally normal and there was rarely a bat of an eye at one. Especially for an obsessive. (Y/n) had the one her father made for her mother in her own house but the idea of it still disturbed her.

Throughout the session, which was mainly directed at Vlod, Lloyd would regularly steal glances accompanied by deep blushes at (Y/n). His mind seemed to whir around her and he knew exactly why. He was so happy about it! It was such a shame that he couldn't properly express this, she just made his already shy personality turn into one that was utterly terrified of doing one thing wrong.

He'd called his parents right after he met (Y/n) to tell them what happened, they were just so proud it made Lloyd even more determined. The pain that the quickening of his heart brought reminded him that he needed to take his medicine.

(Y/n) grew increasingly uncomfortable throughout the session. He spoke of stalking, stealing and other massive invasions of privacy that (Y/n) didn't want to think of someone committing. Especially not someone who she saw as a potential friend... Or even worse, her own father.

"I think I need to go." She said during a lull. (Y/n) started to stand up, this action set off alarm bells in Lloyd's mind.

"R-really?"
